  1. OOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo........................!!! As the crowd yells for more!!! That's looking really good, Bernard!! I can't wait to see how it looks with some BMF!! Later,
  2. Very nice color, Bernard!! It'll look GREAT once you pay appropriate homage to the paint gods and they let you get on with finishing the job. They truly are an ungrateful lot! The spark plug boots look good, too!! Later,
  3. Looking good, Scott!! I have to know...where did you get that GIANT dime!! Later,
  4. Too cool, Marcos!! I had one of these during my senior year in high school!! It was a fun car to drive!! Anyway, I like the first and last set of wheels that you posted. Thanks for sharing,
  5. Looking good, Neal...now...how's that '35 coming along??? Later,
  6. Yes, but only if Annie says its OK.
  7. Hmmmm...I'd be very careful in testing the gods of paint...they can be very tempermental at times... Later,
  8. Looking pretty sharp there, Dave!!! Later,
  9. Thanks, John!! Yeah...this one's got a bit of a forward lean to it... It's amazing how much just slanting the "B" pillar really changes the look of the overall design. Later,
  10. Bernard, What's one more project amongst friends? That is one bright color on a pretty big car!! A little BMF along the beltline molding will help breakup the color and tie together with the chrome at the same time. Looks like a WINNER!! Later,
  11. Thanks, Bernard!! Yeah, I'll spray the final clearcoat on it today. Later,
  12. Thanks, Scott!! I still have to wait for the Revell 5w 32 Ford to come out with the dual-carb, normally aspirated HEMI before I can finish the engine, but it should be done well before the next NNL West... Yep, the seat does look comfortable... Later,
  13. I finally got around to spraying the top color, (Testors lacquer - Dark Bronze Metallic), and the base coat of clear in the body, sanded it with 2000 and figured out what color of pinstripe I'll use to separate the black from the brown. The interior will have the same basic color scheme as the body does. Here's one of the seats. Hopefully I'll be more in the mood for painting tomorrow and get around to spraying the top clearcoat. Until then I've got to get back to conquering the universe in my Forged Alliance game... Later,
  14. Oh yeah...that rear end and engine block from the '32 fits in there like it was meant to be!!! Those MAD distributors sure are nice, too!! Getting the gas tank out of the way was a nice touch!! Don't stop now, Bernard!! You're on a roll!! Later,
  15. Thanks, Scott!! But it looks like you've got me, (and everyone else), beat this time... Later,
  16. Bill, If the rest of this build turns out as nice as the engine, this will be one first class cat!! Keep up the GREAT work and the posts!! Later,
  17. Model builders, take note, "this is how it's supposed to be done!!" Another excellent build, Marcos!! I'll send you a PM with my address. I've already made room for it in my display case. Thanks for sharing!! Later,
  18. Very nice paint and detail work!! Thanks for sharing,
  19. Opps...I wasn't supposed to tell anyone that Scott agreed to give me the model after the show... Wishful thinking!!! Yes, Scott will go home with the award... Later,
  20. Marcos, I've got to go with everyone else on this build...that's definately a show winner!! The colors, stance, rake and period correct details are all right on the money!! Thanks for sharing,
  21. You're welcome, Scott!! Glad to help... Keep up the AWESOME work!! I can hardly wait to see it at next year's NNL West!! I should surely go home with the "People's Choice" award!! Later,
  22. I'm on my way to visit my WWII hero, my grandfather. He's going to be 90 in June. He's still as feisty as ever...but his hearing and his eye-sight isn't quite what it once was. Here's to him and all the other vets and active duty personnel who served!! THANKS!!
  23. Very nice chop and build, Bob!! I really like the slanted "B" pillars!! The really give the old shoebox a more aggressive look!! Thanks for sharing,
