  1. I'll second all of that!!
  2. Very nice build, Dave!! I've got to get one of those S.C.o.T.s Blowers!! Thanks for sharing!! Later,
  3. Very nice build!! Thanks for sharing,
  4. VERY NICE JOB, my old friend!! I guess that I should finish my '56 Del Ray before the next NNL West! It's been back in the box for over a year because I ran out of BMF before I got it finished... Later,
  5. NEVER, EVER trust the death saw with near-finished work!! Oh well...you did it once...
  6. Very nice build, Bernard!! Isn't it amazing what great results you can get from a good sheet of BMF!! We'll have to get Curt to build a '40 Ford of some type before the next NNL West event...then we can line up all of our '40 Fords together!! Later,
  7. Cool build, Neal!! I really like the multiple shades of rust that you used. Regarding the engine "discrepancies"...you forgot to tell everyone that this is a new prototype design that you've been secretly developing with Ford!! Later,
  8. Nice mods and mockup of the engine and tranny!! They look like they now fit really well!! Easy-Off??? That's some pretty nasty stuff for removing what we like to call "chrome". I use household ammonia. In a pinch I'll use Windex, because it has ammonia in it, but it's a lot more expensive and doesn't last as long before you have to dump it out. Later,
  9. I'll second that!! By the way...we haven't seen you build anything lately...is Clay hoarding all of the models? Later,
  10. Looking good, Bernard!! It looks like this one is headed for the finish line!! Later,
  11. Hey, Roy!! I might chop it a little, but not too much... Later,
  12. Jeff, Can you scan and reprint the decals on fresh decal material?
  13. And..that they should move up the delivery date of the '32 5 window coupe (while you're at it)!
  14. And...maybe you'll have an extra one going home with you when you leave the show...afterall, we must keep "she that is to be obeyed" happy!! On a different topic, do you feel the need for pizza? I'm ready!! Later,
  15. And...that kind of customer service and satisfaction will make you want to come back for more... Good job, Angie!!
  16. Very nice build, my old friend!! I'd better get mine done before the next NNL West so yours will have company!! Later,
  17. WOW!!! Somehow I missed that you added the rear door in your earlier post. GREAT JOB getting it integrated seamlessly into the body!! Keep us posted on your progress,
  18. Yeah...I'll get a couple pics of the '58 GM cousins when I get home tomorrow night...
  19. I would NOT give the paint gods one more chance to ruin your day with this one. Remember, many resins don't take well to most paint removers and sanding off all of the old paint is no fun at all. I'd leave this one just the way it is and start laying down the BMF. Later,
  20. Oh no...not Zona Man!!! That is such a cool kit to work with!! It looks like you went Zona-Wild with it!! The flattie looks really cool wedged in there, too!! This will be one cool little roadster when you're done!! Later,
  21. WOW!! Two completely different approaches to the same model, but both extremely cool in their own way!! It just goes to show what an awesome platform this model provides for us to start from!! Keep us posted on your progress,
  22. WOW!!! This is R&R's resin '58 Pontiac Bonneville built by Randy Kern!! Yes, it showed up in my mailbox this morning!! It's painted Tamiya Mica Red with a white top. The interior is an aluminum color, with Scale Motorsports seat decals and flocking. He did a "what if", as his Grandmother had a '58 Pontiac Chieftan that he drove briefly after getting his license, and, as he said in his original post, "this version would get the groceries home in a lot more style!" Now it has a new home, sitting in style on the top shelp of my main display case!! Many thanks, Randy!!! Later,
  23. That looks like some pretty cool stuff, Marcos!! I'm a bit surprised that the transmission came in 2 pieces, given that it's resin... Please make sure that you take plenty of pics as you go!! I'm interested in these engines, too...but I really don't like working with most resin kits... Later,
  24. You've got some nice looking models!! Now you need to take some pics of each of them and post them individually!! Thanks for sharing,
  25. It's always GREAT to see a box-art build at the shows when you set the model down next to the box!! Keep us posted on your progress!! Later,
