  1. You just gotta love a car where the engine is taller than the body!! The wood work looks great, too!!
  2. Very nice!! I'd hate to race that one...I'd be afraid of damaging it.
  3. WOW!!! What an impressive collection of cars, regardless of the fact that they were built in one year!!
  4. Look at you go, my old friend!! I really could have used one of your elves this year. Of the few builds I started, I didn't get any of them finished. Hopefully I'll get at least one new build behind me before the NNL. Later,
  5. Another fine build, Bernard!! You've probably noticed that I've switched cars again (due to the lack of phone calls on my way home from work). I'll call on the weekend when I get past this cold... Later,
  6. Bernard, That's quite an impressive collection of builds for one year!! If I include what I started for 2011, by total comes in around 0.5. I'm hoping that 2012 will be a better year for me. Maybe the NNL West is just what I need to get motivated again. Send me an email when you get time. My main computer partially died last week and I haven't had time to transfer my email information over to the new computer yet. Later,
  7. Another excellent build, my old friend!! My build count for 2011 came in somewhere around 0.5 if you add up all of the things I started... Later,
  8. That pretty much says it all. Randy was one of those people that was always fun to talk to and a pleasure to be around. He will be missed. Rest in peace, my old friend.
  9. How about a ZR-1 powered 1950 Chevy Pickup?
  10. Thanks, Randy! This is one of my favorites from your stable of long roof builds...It just screams Corvette grocery getter!!
  11. Thanks, George!! I haven't built much this year. I've been busy with work, getting kids moved into and out of the house and my N scale train layout. I do plan on at least one more build this year for the NNL West. Later,
  12. This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but I wedged an SVT Cobra engine into a Revell '49 Merc... I even managed to get the SVT's cat converters tied into the Merc's exhaust... Afterall...it's a CA car
  13. Very nice!! I like the entire build!!
  14. This is not my best engine work, but definately one of the funnest engines I've built...it's the engine from the "Future Rat". The first 3 pictures were taken before it was weathered. To put the engine into prospective, here it is in the car.
  15. Here's a couple of my long roof projects from the past... Later,
  16. Well, my old friend...maybe if what came in the old "Jack Daniels" tin box wasn't empty you'd be able to remember where the decal came from!! :) Got any more full tins?
  17. Very nice, my old friend!! The checkered flag decals came out GREAT!! I guess that I should get started on mine, too...
  18. Bernard, The reflections in the paint "clearly" show how much work you put into the paint job!! (Please excuse the pun...) Maybe I'll start sending my paint jobs north for the holiday. Later,
  19. Very nice paint work, Bernard!! Color sanding between the major layers really helps achieve a GREATfinal finish!! Later,
  20. Awesome trubute to your dad, my old friend!! I think we need to get together for some pizza to celebrate completion of your dad's truck!! Later, Raul
  21. Very cool, Bernard!! Yes, I know...I'm a bit late to the party...I've been pretty busy getting rid of my Danbury Mint cars, making room for my train stuff... I can't wait to see this little jewel in February at the NNL West!! Later, Raul
  22. Virgil, I want some of the meds you're taking!! Way too cool, my friend!! And for those that haven't bought the good doctor's book yet, get busy!! It is well worth the cover price!! Later, Raul
  23. Very cool, Bernard!! That's a lot of carburation!! Later, Raul
