  1. All we need now is a Phaeton and a Vicky and our little world will be complete!! Later,
  2. It's good to see these two together again!! And, it looks like they're holding up pretty well (at least after the repairs from their trip back east). Later,
  3. Dave, I don't even know where to start commenting on this one... WOW!!! I am in awe!!! I am curious...why two fully built frames? Thanks for sharing,
  4. The old reissues and even the original can be found pretty easily on eBay. Here's the original Monogram issue with multiple build options. Since the top is a seperate piece, they did several variations over the years. I had the original issue of the '34 Ford that was issued like this with several options. Here's one of the early reissues. Here's one of the more recent reissues that I have a copy of. Here's the Woody in several releases... Here's my personal favorite...the touring car. Later,
  5. Well then how about a picture of them sitting together...
  6. Bill, Other than a couple of oil leaks, this one is really looking GREAT!! The detail on the chassis and engine is right on the money!! Yeah, I could come out to your place for the day, and probably bring my old friend Jerry along, but we'd probably not be able to get him to leave. He spent much of his youth growing up in that area and often talks about wanting to move back. Later,
  7. Bernard, The ride height and stance look right on the money!! The metallic bronze will probably be a better color to show louvers. Later,
  8. Clay, You're getting pretty good at spraying those models!! I really enjoy seeing your skills improve with each new build!! Later,
  9. Scott, You probably shouldn't turn the master cylinder assembly on its side...I think I saw a little fluid starting to leak out of one of the top seals!! Too cool!! Keep up the GREAT work and thanks for sharing,
  10. You just gotta love the Fred Flintstone floorboards, too!! Great build, my old friend!! It looks like you're ready to help me build my next train layout with those new weathering skills you've developed!! Later,
  11. CB, It looks like that little 4 banger is almost ready to ignite in a foray of sights (if she comes apart) and sounds (if she doesn't) only previously heard by the likes of people like Nicolas Cugnot, Gottlieb Daimler, Louis Renault, Henry Ford and Karl Benz! Make sure that you're wearing safety glasses and a flack jacket when you fire that rascal up for the first time!! Later,
  12. I really liked this build the first time through. The outdoor pics really show how well the paint job is done!! Later,
  13. I don't know how I missed this one the first time through. That is one really nicely built Chevy!! Congratulations on a GREAT build!! Later,
  14. There's not much more that I can say beyond what Randy and Bernard have already covered, so I guess that I'll close by simply applauding and congratulating you on an awesone build!! Thanks for sharing all of the inprocess and final photos of your build,
  15. Nice work, Harry!!
  16. Hey Virgil, that new avatar is pretty cool!! Do you have any updated pics of the Merc? (I've grown to expect more from you at this stage of a build than just a painted body with a grille and a couple of wheels stuck under it). Later,
  17. Tom, The color looks GREAT as is, but would also look good done in a two-tone with some pinstripes to separate the colors!! Or, maybe a company logo on the side panel... Simply stated, a good looking vehicle like this looks good in almost any color scheme! Thanks for sharing,
  18. That blower is looking pretty good, CB!! I think that I could have done without seeing the baby pics. Later,
  19. Looking good, Dave!! It's almost time to wrap this one up and drop it in the mail to me!! Later,
  20. Very nice work, Dave!! The whole thing looks and works well from front-to-back and top-to-bottom!! Thanks for sharing,
  21. Bill, Those magnets look like a pretty slick idea. I may have to try that sometime. The engine detail also looks pretty good. The fuel line fittings look spot on!! Thanks for sharing,
  22. Very nice Nova!! The whole look is right on the money!! This is the first one I've seen finished that has me thinking that I should build one!! Thanks for sharing,
  23. Nice pics, Brian!! I'm glad to see that the dog stopped just short of eating your camera!! Bernard may not have taken a lot of pics with my camera, but I can assure you that the ones he took are clearer than any I ever take at the shows!! Later,
  24. And, there are no pics of my builds on my Fotki site, either!! Actually, Bernard used my camera to take pics for me because he forgot his camera and I was busy selling a lot of magazines!! Where's the link to the rest of your pics?
  25. Looking good, Bill!! I guess we'll have to wait until NNL West 2010 to see this one in person!! Later,
