  1. I like these two the best!! If the Galaxie had the side-draft carbs then I'd pick it for #1!! Later,
  2. I'll second that!! With all of the '08 reviews that have been posted I almost missed this one!! Thanks for sharing,

    08 builds

I really like the T-Bolt, but I'd have to call this one my favorite because this is the one that my friends at CalSurplus donated parts for. Later,
  4. Thanks for the kind words, Mike! Yes, I too have met several new builders and made new friends through this forum. I hope someday to meet many of you face-to-face!! Thanks, Ed! Yes, the hauler and trailer are getting close to being finished. I didn't have a smuch time to work on them over the holidays as I had planned, but I am making progress on getting them done. Later,
  5. Very clean, Ed!! Boy, those old cars from the 50s sure take a lot of BMF!!
  6. I remenber following this build!! I love what you did with the flathead!! Too cool!! Thanks for sharing,
  7. Dave, Dave, Dave...The Faux Ferrari is pretty cool stuff, but I'd have to say that my favorite is the '59 Chevy Sport Roadster! (Even if I'd have gone with the Vette wheels instead of the stockers from the late '50s) Later,
  8. Here are a few pics of the hauler with the stripes and the final clear coat. After the clear dries for a week or so I'll sand out the little bit of orange peel it has, polish it, paint the interior of the cab and put it all together. I still need to add the stripes and the decals to the trailer before it gets its final clearcoat. I'm hoping to get to most of that by the end of this weekend. Later,
  9. I like this one the best!!
  10. Nice build, old buddy!! What is the story behind the split wing...I forgot?
  11. Brian, It's good to hear from you! Have you built anything new lately? I'll see you at the NNL West in a few months!! Later,
  12. The hauler is painted, striped and cleared. All I need to do is stripe, decal and clear the trailer; which I should get around to this weekend... Yeah...the Stude came out pretty nice... I'll bring the Future Rat when we get together for lunch next week... Later,
  13. OK...now you did it..I can't pick a favorite from your builds, they're all really nice!! If I had to pick, I think that I'd go with the Cuda...no, the Merc...no, the '32...oh, forget it. Just mail tham all to me and I'll sort it out which one I like best when I get more time. Later,
  14. Thanks!! Yes, I build several different types and styles of models; but I've never been able to get excited about ships or planes... That's pretty funny about the wife!! After almost 25 years, my wife is pretty accepting of my model building. Like she says, there are a lot of other ways that I could be spending time and money that she surely wouldn't appreciate! Later,
  15. Unlike Bernard, I don't remember seeing the M1, but it looks pretty cool! May favorite of your builds is Bill Elliott's car. It reminds me of the time when I watched a lot of NASCAR events! Thanks for sharing,
  16. Both are very nice builds!! I like the '32 the best!! Those are some seriously HUGE meats!! Later,
  17. Me!? Look at what time Bernard posted!! Anyway, my new little friend has been getting me up at about 6:00 everyday to let him out. And, how can you say no to this face?
  18. I saw this one at Milt's NNL; I was surprised that it's 1:24th scale after seeing the detailed pics and knowing that Bill was also building a 1:8th scale hotrod!
  19. I'll second that!! I wish that Tamiya would have kept building large scale coupes!
  20. I'll second that!! What kind of camera, lighting and what settings are you using for your pics? Even in the quarter-view shots; everything is crisp, clear and in focus. GREAT work on the build and the pics!! Later,
  21. Bernard, That's what I love most about your comments; they're positive reinforcement for the builder and educational! Thanks for your continual support and enlightenment! Regards,
  22. Looking good, Bill!! I'm looking forward to seeing it at the NNL West in a few months!! Later,
  23. I'd have to say that I like the blue Javelin the best!!
  24. Dave, This should prove to be one cool looking combination of parts!! Harry, I wish that I had the time to learn to draw like you do!! Later,
  25. That is one very clean build!! You just gotta love a car with HUGE meats all around!!
