  1. I really like the way you shaped the exhaust openings!! Nice job!!
  2. Another great build, Brendan!! I hope you bring it to the next Milt's NNL!!
  3. Excellent workmanship and craftsmanship!!
  4. I'll second that (from this side of the Avanti) !!!
  5. Clay, I'm glad to see that you got all of the loose parts sorted out and put back where they belong. I asked the lady at the post office NOT to write FRAGILE on the box, but she did anyway. From that point on, I knew we were doomed!! Anyway, it looks great sitting on the trailer and with your other Avantis!! It looks "at home" sitting there with your collection of cars!! Later,
  6. Nice build, Chris!! You just can't beat a cleanlt built SOHC engine!!
  7. William, GREAT job on the paint and the BMF!! The whole build looks right on the money!!
  8. I'll second that!! What a cool looking Stude!! The color combination is GREAT!!
  9. That's a very looking classy color combination!! Nice build!!
  10. Nice foil work, Kevin!! the white top really sets off the red!!
  11. You're getting there, Neal!! I really like the white insert against the bright red!! That fuelie motor os looking good, too!!
  12. Yep, that's one cool looking hotrod!!
  13. Thanks, guys!! I'm glad that you like it!! I'd look for a resin Comet to do a conversion. The grille would be the hardest part to deal with if you tried to convert a Falcon.
  14. I like the way you think!!
  15. Yep...maybe a Merc or a StarLiner...
  16. This is the Model King release of the Daddy Warbucks '65 Falcon A/FX gasser. I must admit that I'm a bit partial to '64 and '65 Falcons. My first car was a '64 Falcon Sprint. Other than a few minor details like the hood pins and the seat belts, this one was built right from the box. Thanks for looking!!
  17. I'll second that!! Excellent build!!
  18. Very, very nice, Lyle!! You just can't beat a clean, well built model!! Good luck at the Street Rod Nats!!
  19. Too cool, Clay!! That's the way we all learned...a little trial and error. Keep up the good work!!
  20. Thanks, Eric!! It's too bad that there wasn't a salt flat class at last weekend's GoodGuys show because everyone really liked it. Oh well...maybe next year...
  21. Well, another GoodGuys show in sunny Pleasanton CA has come and gone... Overall, it was a pretty good show with many great looking 1:1 cars and some really cool models. Here's the link to the pics I took: http://public.fotki.com/Raul56Perez/may-08-goodguys-show/ Later,
  22. Rachel, Please let me know if you change your mind about receiving additional models for the kids. The hospital in the town where I live doesn't have any type of long-term care programs for children...and with my work and home schedule, I honestly don't have the time to travel to other hospitals in the immediate vicinity on my weekends. Regards,
  23. Nice job, Michael!! That engine is really wedged in there!!
  24. Here's how I did mine...kind of how Robert described... Check the Fotki site for a few more pics of the build... Later,
  25. Oh yeah, Bernard...this one is coming along nicely!! You just can't beat a bright "I want a #$%^ing ticket" red car when it comes to flash!! I can't wait to see this one painted and done!! Later,
