  1. Kevin, That's looking pretty good!! I'm sure that's the last thing that you want to see in your rearview mirror when you're cruzin' around in your hearse.
  2. That's OK...monster hood or not, it's a great looking build!! I'm also pretty partial to early Camaros. I had a '67 SS 350 hardtop.
  3. Check with Chris at Scale Modeling By Chris He specializes in racing stuff and has GREAT resin products.
  4. Very nice build!! I just may have to move mine closer to the top of the pile!
  5. Very nice work!! The proportions look pretty good, especially the roof line, where most of the "El Camino/Ranchero" conversions seem to have problems. Thanks for sharing,
  6. Same here. His link doesn't go to his album.
  7. The '40 Coupe/Pickup is an AMT kit. I'm not sure which engine comes in that kit. The '43 Willys pickup from Revell and recently released by the Model King have a Ford engine. The newer Revell Willys kits, (Stone, Woods Cook, John Mazmanian and the Street Rod versions without the opening doors), all had the 392 HEMI.
  8. I didn't get a thing!! They were out of the paint, the spark plug wire and the Plastuct 1/2 round stock that I needed. They did have a "buy two, get one free" sale, but with all of the kits I already have, that's the last thing I needed to buy. Oh well, better luck next time...
  9. Yeah...like I said, you could be in a lot worse place. I'm sure that Ani and David are glad that you're nearby.
  10. Yeah, the 392 is one of my favorites, too. The one that comes in the later Revell Willys kits goes together really well and looks GREAT when it's done.
  11. How much longer are you planning on staying on active duty?
  12. That is one wild lookin' ride there, ######'n!! It kind of reminds me of something Ed Roth would have put together back in the day!
  13. It sounds like it's about time for another care package!! Hopefully, my friend George will have those truck/trailer sets for sale at the Stockton model show & swap meet next weekend.
  14. I really like that style of hood scoop on those early 60s Fords!! Nice....
  15. That is just looking too freaking cool!! Keep up the GREAT work!!
  16. How's your supply of BMF holding out? You're gonna need some for that car...
  17. And, you can never have too many cubes!!

    TE-27 Levin

Very nice build, Andy!! The wheels really bring that one to life!!
  20. Bill, My only disappointment is that you only posted three pictures!! More, please!! The paint finish is right on the money!! Thanks for sharing,
  21. You guys are too funny!! Don't worry too much about finding a hauler. I'm pretty sure that one will find it's way to you somehow.
  22. Looking good, Bill, as usual!! You can't stop now...this one is looking too good to set aside. Yes, I've had good and bad sheets of BMF. When I complained about it, I was told that what I got was probably from the end of the roll. With that I replied "thanks for sharing your defective material!". What I sent Clay was a clean, new sheet of the standard "chrome" BMF. Yes, the ultrabright stuff only seems to be good for things like mirrors. It does NOT conform to the shape of the model like the standard stuff does. I think that it's actually a mylar based material. Anyway, keep up the good work!!
  23. Oh yeah!! The two-tone green really works!! The dark colored fenders with the lighter colored body keep this one grounded in tradition while the updated tires, wheels, upholstery and engine give it a more contemporary feel. The white with the green in the interior and the white on the firewall should really bring it all together!! The engine details look GREAT!! Those MAD prewired distributors really rock!! Roundin' third, headin' for home!!! Don't bother lookin' back, this one's gonna be a shot outa da park!! Later,
  24. Well, look at the bright side...at least you're on duty in South Carolina. That sure beats the ###### out of a lot of outher places our good uncle could have decided that you should be! Are you working on anything?
