Just checked mine, and it's only got the RHD dashboard in the kit, however it does include the rubber bumpers.
-
Finished the polishing on this one, now I just need to mask it up to airbrush the black trim around the wheel arches and tailgate

I got in touch with him a few months ago, he'd got a gauge set listed for the 1:24th scale Monogram '57 Corvette, I asked him if he did them in 1:25th scale for the AMT version, he did me a couple of sets, he really is a superb guy to deal with,.

Bodywork and interior are like new, for many years it was a second car,as I had my Ford Probe as a daily driver, although it's only got just over 13,000 miles on the clock,it needs a few mechanical items replacing, the ignition switch plays up from time to time, the part only costs around £30, the front wishbone bushes need replacing, not because there's any play in them, but the rubber has dried out causing them to squeak when your on an uneven surface, I'll have to the complete bottom arms replaced, and due to age the cam belt needs replacing, I was planning to get it all done this year, but as I've been out of work for 3 months now I didn't want to dig into the savings to get the work done, it will all get done as soon as things get back to normal here and I can travel to get my work done.

I never actually knew that they made a PT Cruiser convertible until I went to pick mine up from the dealership, they'd just put one in the showroom, one day I'll get one to keep mine company, sadly we never got the turbo models in right hand drive.

Still got my PT Cruiser which I bought new back in 2006, a week today and I'll have had it 14 years, thought I'd give her a good clean yesterday....

Revell released a 1:18th scale diecast one a few years ago, I've always wanted them to release a 1:24th scale model kit of it

When I was working at British Leyland I wanted one of the last MGB GT's, they had all been reserved so I had to have a TR7 Coupe instead

Bonnet polished, I think that's as good as I can get it.... I've had that discount card for years, these days I just use it to see if I've got a good finish on my polishing

I've not heard anything about tinting it yourself as anything containing the smallest amount of water in it will cure the super glue in the bottle, there are however tinted super glue that you can buy. https://www.stewmac.com/luthier-tools-and-supplies/materials-and-supplies/glues-and-adhesives/glues/stewmac-super-glues/stewmac-tinted-super-glue.html

Started polishing the bodyshell, starting on the roof panel, polished using 4 different grades of polishing compound

Wheel fitted, tyres fitted on without any problems, no sidewall markings though, the inner wheel backs were brush painted in satin black, which shows up the holes in the outer wheel.

I did think the same for a few minutes, but then I remembered the one a member of staff was restoring when I worked at Volkswagen, the front grille is totally different, then I knew what it was.

Interior all built up, Tamiya masking tape holding everything in place while the epoxy resin dries up, seat belt buckles were picked out using a silver Uni paint marker, decanted and applied with a fine brush, popped the steering wheel onto the column and fixed it to the dashboard.

Very nice build, I'm still deciding what colour to paint mine in. -
Cheers Dann, I faced my nemesis yesterday ( I hate applying decals) and got the dashboard finished, also painted the steering wheel spokes with some very old Humbrol Metalkote polished aluminium, fitted the seat belt storks, even picked out the release buttons in Tamiya red enamel, got the wheels clearcoated and picked out the centre caps and wheel nut covers in satin black.

Best adhesive for resin kits?
GeeBee replied to Bugatti Fan's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Over the years I've tried so many different Cyanoacrylate adhesives, I've been using Everbuilds products for a while with great success, once is a slower setting, the other sets within around 10 seconds
