U.K sellers won't send enamel paint oversea's, acrylic seems to be o.k, checking the "Prohibited goods" page on the U.K Post Office page does list that Enamel paints are on the list of goods that can't be sent internationally through the post.

Finally got this one finished, painted in the original Trabant shade of Champagne beige, imported from what would have been East Germany when the Trabant was in production, sadly I found out after I had the paint delivered that Champagne beige is the same colour as RAL 1024.

No, not a brilliant car, but you were lucky to have one in what was then East Germany, there was a waiting list for a new one, and although Trabant wanted to update the 601, the GDR Government kept saying no, so the 601 was kept in production a lot longer than it was originally designed for. and like outer "People Cars" the Trabant is one of those iconic cars. No, there has never been a Trabant on Wheeler Dealers, not sure they would make any money out of it, over here you can either buy a complete wreck or a mint condition one, which will cost no more than £3,000 ($4,500).

Got the wipers and the door mirrors fitted, the mirrors were fixed into place using 90 second clear epoxy and held in place using a small set square until the glue sets rock hard, just two decals to fit now and she is 100% finished ....

After ordering a set of decals for the Ebbro Renault 4's, I only had the one Fourgonette in the stash, thought I had better grab another, so I can use more of the decal set,

Not sure why, but since March it seems I just lost my Mojo, and just couldn't make myself go into the hobby room, even though I have plenty of time to do so, tried a few times but just could get anything done. A few days ago my Mojo returned and now my modelling seems to be back to normal and I've been cracking on with the little Trabbi, just the front wipers, side mirrors and a few decals to apply and it will be finally finished .....

I've been using one for a few years now, for Car bodies I mainly use lacquer paints, details are usually done using Tamiya acrylics, this booth has handled everything I put through it, I usually replace the filter every 12 months, in between jobs I take the filters out and give them a good vacuuming, before I used it for the first time I lined it using blue masking tape and grease proof paper, and then put a few sheets of newspaper on the base

I had my Heller version delivered last month, the body looks very fragile, but will be painted with the supports in place

Just use some 5 minute epoxy, one small blob at each end, that will hold it in place .....

The latest Renault 4 TL/GTL from Heller, I've had it on pre order with them since they were announced ....

Different model, but I always use BMF to do the window trim, even if it's molded as part of the window ....

If you read all there Twitter feeds, the three of them worked well, and Hammond and May have said they won't be doing TG without Clarkson, so if the BBC are going to carry on with TG, they have a huge amount of work to make it work and to bring in the same amount of viewers, myself I just can't see it happening. The BBC hasn't backed down, and what Jonathan posted is true, the BBC didn't run the "Live" shows, but they used the TG name, which has already been said, the BBC won't let them use the name, but the live shows are going ahead, so many people had already bought tickets for the shows they had booked. I can see in the future the three of them doing something together, what it will be could only be a guess .....
