It will indeed punch holes in metal up to 1/16 thick or so. But the punches have a center point on them which distorts the slug. OK if you want the hole, NOT good if you want the punching.

You could also use BMF on the MACK logo and Molotow or sharpie on the bars. The BMF might not stick real well to flat black paint though?

I have this ‘54 Willys that I put onto a 1980 Chevy Blazer frame. It has a 350 Chevy engine with tbi fuel injection from a later suburban and a TH350 transmission. I got the engine professionally rebuilt, added a Detroit locker in the rear and an Off Road Design doubler kit to the transfer case. I shortened the box a foot to fit the shorter frame and built the tool box and bed cover. Then I made a 1/25 scale copy.? I used to go 4 wheeling just about every weekend with a bunch of buddies…but they have all taken up different hobbies, so now it just sits mostly.?

Day light is once again gettin’ shorter.

All I did was drill three .021” holes through the kit part at 45 degrees and a shallow one at the end of the pipe. Then I fed my .020” (beading wire) plug wires through the holes, fastened with a touch of CA, and trimmed the excess on the far side. Sorry, not very good pics.?

You Tube! I really appreciate the tips and tricks I can learn there on many subject matters. But they let any idiot with a cell phone or video camera post up “how to” videos. Some of these people run the gamut from inept to downright stupid to even dangerous. I am smart enough (I hope) to weed out the bad information, but some people might consider these videos excellent advice.?
