I was speaking about taking decanted containers of paint aboard a plane. That is what the OP asked about.

Favor this hobby and website greatly I do.

Decanted paint will retain some propellant for quite some time. Are luggage compartments pressurized? If it is shipped by air in an unpressurized luggage compartment, it would quite likely leak or maybe even burst the containers? I doubt if they would allow it in carry on luggage even in regulation size containers.

Grinding Out Model Car Grills for more realistic look

I have used the two on the left…but in my drill press with the depth stop set. There may be a better, less aggressive alternative if you are free-handing it? -
Me too! It would be a good excuse to do the 2.5L swap though.? I don’t believe their faulty filter story, but what else are they going to tell us?

Driving from Winnipeg to Vancouver, we stopped in Penticton to visit friends. I needed an oil change in the MX5 so I went to a local drive thru place. We left our friends place yesterday and were about to “hit the highway” when they called to tell us there was an oil patch where we were parked in their garage. I pulled over and checked the level and it was ok, but we decided it would be best to go back to the oil change place. They said it was leaking due to a “faulty” filter.? They replaced it and topped up the oil and double checked for leaks and off we went. It’s a good thing our friends noticed that oil slick or our trip would have taken a real nasty turn!?

Grinding Out Model Car Grills for more realistic look

It depends on the shape of the grill and the size of the slats what method works best. The same with any process in this hobby. Thankfully there is a very resourceful group on this forum that are willing to share their tips and experiences. I for one have learned a lot on here. Thanks, Greg. -

Left for a trip to the west coast in the MX5 yesterday. Not ten miles from home, some guy in an suv decides to change lanes as I am passing right beside him. My wife screamed, I blasted the horn and instinctively pulled to the left….I bet he was no more than 6 inches away from hitting us before he realized wth he was doing.? My wife said she saw him put his signal light on and immediately start to move over. He obviously never bothered to check his side mirror or he would have seen me through the window.

1966 Chevy Nova Pro Street - Engine size?
NOBLNG replied to jlucky's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
You have three choices. 1) Build it as it came out of the box.? 2) Use it as a starting point to build it as you would a real one if you had unlimited resources.? 3) Give up on it.? -
