  1. Too late now maybe, but I have found that it helps to take lots of detail pictures of anything I intend to disassemble before and during the process.?
  2. Occur(s) to me that some words are harder than others with which to start a sentence.
  3. If the wire is not crimped in place tightly, try rotating it 180 degrees.
  4. Everything is looking great Steven, including those window cranks and door handles. As I said in my thread, I am honoured to be an inspiration to a man of your talents, and/or anyone else on here for for that matter!?
  5. I have never done anything like you are attempting, but You can possibly measure this pic to determine which way the wheelwell has to move? Or better yet, resize it and print it at 1/25 scale (or to match the size of the body you have) and use it as a template.
  6. Helicopters are ideally suited for search and rescue missions.
  7. This is impressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXOffbLH_I0
  8. Do you know which model you will tackle next?
  9. It might not be the computers that are at fault? This was happening here about 3 years ago….? “The internal investigation of the city’s (Winnipeg) Planning, Property and Development (PPD) department stemmed from a privately-driven investigation that caught 16 employees on video camera making personal shopping trips, running errands and taking extended lunch breaks during work time.” https://canada.constructconnect.com/joc/news/government/2019/09/six-winnipeg-building-inspectors-fired-improvements-sought-to-help-contractors-and-public#:~:text=The internal investigation of the, lunch breaks during work time.
  10. My wife and I took a new Mazda MX 5 (4th gen ND) out for a test drive today just for the heck of it. It started raining the minute we left the lot, so we had to put the retractable roof back up.? We both liked how it handled and drove although we couldn’t push it much. However nothing about it impressed us more than my 2013 NC. The trunk is quite a bit smaller, no glovebox at all, the door armrests are too tiny to even use, and the cup holder placement is awkward at best. So I had a big grin on my face driving home in my own car.
  11. Son of a bitch my dog was.
  12. Not on the road, but on display in the local Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep dealer.
  13. Does it work on the plastic tubes? Edit: Looks like it might work with the old Testors tube glue too!?
  14. Lions wouldn’t make very good pets if you have small children.
  15. Plastic toothpaste tubes.? Surely they can’t be that much cheaper to produce than the good old aluminum ones that you could fold up as you use the contents.?

  17. Mmmm….yes, excellent proportions.?
  18. Witch Hazel is a plant that is used for a wide variety of home remedies.
  19. Driveline maintenance on a regular basis is crucial.
  20. This^^. I too prefer Milliput, the fine white stuff, for major sculpting work. It has zero shrinkage but does take a day or two to really harden up. I have used sprue goo to cover the cuts on a roof chop. It works really well but takes weeks to revert back to solid styrene. A little patience is required sometimes, which is why I have a few builds on the go at once.
  21. This is my first and only white one so far. Paint is Tamiya LP-2 and MR. Hobby UV cut clear. The first coat was a little pebbly, so I gave it a light sanding then a couple more coats. The foil gives some contrast and the clear gives it some depth. If your model doesn’t have any trim to accent the paint, white may look a little bland? Also, highlighting the panel lines before the paint may help to define them and break up the “whiteness”. I’m certainly no expert…just my thoughts.
  22. Tragic? The only one I feel sorry for is the 19yo son who didn’t want to disappoint his father. They were all wealthy enough and intelligent enough that a little bit of research would have turned up apparently credible warnings about the safety of the vessel and the cavalier attitude of the operator. ?
  23. Here are a whole bunch of threads on how to do vinyl tops. https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Amodelcarsmag.com+vinyl+tops&source
  24. I don’t personally know of any, but I googled this.
