How to cut square holes?
NOBLNG replied to Len Woodruff's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
You could also cut some fine sandpaper into very thin strips. Then draw the strips back and forth through the hole to get a nice smooth finished edge. -
Another tool I made from 3/32” s/s for scraping uniform window recesses. Sharpened to a chisel point and bent similar to the trim scriber above.

Topical ointment should hopefully take care of that rash you’ve been complaining about… but if not, you better see a dermatologist.

Sealer for Paint Crazing n old Johan Rambler
NOBLNG replied to Len Woodruff's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have a one litre can of it and have sprayed it through my Paashe H. It is pretty thick but doable. It does say not to thin it, but I don’t think they imagine it would be used for our purposes?? They say cleanup is with ammonia and water or methyl hydrate. I have just used isopropyl alcohol to clean the airbrush. l imagine the aerosol stuff would be thinner? -

This product will seal pretty much anything and is available in aerosol or quart cans. Be sure to get the shellac based stuff. It is great for preventing bleed through of colored plastics too. https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Amodelcarsmag.com+zinnser+bin&source -

I would imagine they would have to be ladder bars. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/shop/1962-chevy-impala-suspension-ladder-bars~65790-1962-47-451-1-949-16-488-14557 https://www.impalas.net/threads/ladder-bars-for-64-impala-ss.5690/ https://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/20536/ -

I am certainly no expert on finishing, but I think you could sand out the debris with 2000-3000 while carefully avoiding the decals. I am not familiar with that clear at all, but I don’t think spot stripping would be a good idea. Someone more experienced will hopefully chime in. Good luck!?
