And sorry about the earlier rant. I am OCD and obsessive compulsive and when something throws me a blind curve. Throws me way off. Plus I might be starting with Parkinson’s as my hands shake when I’m trying to do little work. My wife wants me to see the doctor but what can he do. My youngest sister has a form of Parkinson’s and there isn’t much they can do for her. Makes it so frustrating as I want my work to be like so many of you in the club who’s work I admire and know I’ll never be there. But as snake says. Model on. ?

The Corvair is a horrible kit if you ask me. Tires are terrible. The engine posts didn't line up. I have 2 more in my stash and they are going on Ebay Snake. LOL. The caddy is in the purple pond. I used the cheaper Duplicolor primer for the first time and it pays to buy the more expensive one. I don't know if I can save the mustangs. I think I can save one. But after spraying them with the cheaper primer. The enamel ate right through the primer and screwed up the plastic. The red one I might be able to save but the black. I don't know. I've never used clear coat before. Do you wait days before you spray that on? Thanks.

Oh. And my builds are 10 footers. Any closer and you'll see all the faults. Spray painting is always an issue with me.

Exactly David. In upstate NY. Winters can be brutal. So I paint the bodies of numerous kits with the spray booth. But you really don't want to do that every day. I then prime the other parts. And then paint those parts. And I build a little bit on each kit so the glue will dry. Some times it works out. Sometimes not.

I di all the spray painting on one day. So I do several kits at a time.

6 builds I’m working on. Gremlin like the one I owned. 2 Mustangs. Red one to recreate the one a friend has. The black one a painting disaster. The Caddy. A Corvair and a 1950 Ford.
