  1. Sounds interesting, looking forward to seeing this come together, happy modeling Pierre
  2. I feel for you, just dropping one is bad enough, but having all those destroyed by someone else is heartbreaking, I hope you get some compensation but like you say its the time and effort that you put into them, don't suppose they would have ctv footage of the break in. A few months ago four youths broke into a school where they were holding a model railway show and destroyed every single layout just for the fun of it, they caused thousands of pounds worth of damage but once again it was the time and effort put into the models that can not be replaced, I think they caught them and they were all 14 or 15 years old, they probably got a smack on the wrists. Hope you can motivate yourself to rebuild them, from the photos it looks like a real big jigsaw, anyway best wishes and all the best to you.
  3. That's true, they all seam to look bigger than there American counterparts, probably the roo bar and extra fuel tanks that sets them apart, the one that really does it for me though is the SAR, both the early narrow grill one and the later wide grill version really have stile by the bucket load.
  4. Its looking great, really interesting subject plus great modelling skills to admire and learn from, are you keeping a tally on the hours or have you all ready lost count?
  5. Kenworth are still building coe's in Australia, checkout the K 200, not too sure about the grill yet but the rest looks fantastic, I think I still prefer the K 104 though ( a bit more old school like me) maybe the new stile grill will grow on me in time, anyway both are still great looking cabover's.
  6. Hi folks, only just found this posting, I think my next build will be the Revell K100 aerodyne so I will be needing one as well, I will keep watching, great photo's if I need to scratch build, cheers all.
  7. I followed your build, man you really went through the mill with this one, came out great in the end though, well worth all the effort it really looks the part, fantastic build and weathering, top job again!!!
  8. PERFECTION that's all, what else can you say.
  9. That is absolutely top class work, modeling as good as it gets, a really inspirational piece of work!!!!

  12. Looks great, are you going to get it out on site and get it dirty? lovely piece of work, top class!!!
  13. A really nice job, detail on the engine is spot on, excellent work!!!
  14. Hi everybody, its been a while, progress on the MARMON is now down to a crawl, in fact its on hold for the next couple of weeks as two of my paint colours have gone dry, off for a short break to Britain tomorrow so I will be able to stock up again. Anyway a few photo's of progress so far, might be a while to the next ones, happy modeling everyone.
  15. There are some really nice restored example's in Australia but that resin cab and hood look like a lot of work to me, there doesn't look to be anything straight or square, or is it possibly the angle of the photo's, good luck with it if you decide to have a go, I will watch the build for sure as it is one of my favorite Kenworths and is one that I would like to model in the future.
  16. Fantastic, really excellent work on both, detail and weathering absolutely top notch.
  17. Nice work and a nice tribute to your dad, looks fine for your first big rig build, I would have been over the moon if my first truck had come out any where near as good as yours, well done!!!
  18. Looks great, lovely detailed work, and interesting to see the two models side by side, it looks like it was a decent kit for all those years ago.
  19. Its looking good, that tipper body looks sturdy, good luck with the rest of the build.
  20. Looks fantastic, an absolutely stunning piece of craftsmanship, (wasn't sure if it was real to start with) excellent job!!!
  21. Nice looking Mack, excellent work, like the scratch built blower unit, colour and decals just finish it off a treat, great job!!!
