You just do such wonderful modeling, this is a treat for us as we get to see what's in the box, I try to stay away from Kit's that need a lot of BMF as I'm not really too steady with the hands... what is your opinion on these 53 Ford Kit's, how's the side trim chrome, a doable thing for me??? I always enjoy your results...
  8. I love it, the paint is perfect, truly amazing workmanship, makes my 50 Chevy's look like I painted them with a broom, maybe I did,?

  13. Awesome build, The 66 Tamiya bug is next for me, I remember how these would whistle out of the exhaust pipes,or tailpipes as they called them, a sound so unique, don't change a thing, it's perfect....

  15. Wasn't the 351-400 actually a big block engine, the one I had in my 76 LTD was physically a bigger motor. How I remembered them was the fuel pump mounted with the bolts one on top of each other and 289/302, the pump mounted to the front gear cover slde by side, (normally seen)....
  16. Well this is the third one I've done since I started doing this again. This one features lowered suspension, shaved door handles, replaced with .030 brass wire, wired distributor homemade with .015 solder, and the seat has been covered with dryer lint, fixed with diluted white glue, I wanted to represent a barn fresh farm truck..let me know what you think, thanks...

  19. That's just the neatest thing I seen...
  20. Well here's the paint with salt Tamiya XF-18 medium blue... Just painted it out in my driveway, managed to spill it on the concrete and my new sandals and right foot, but I'm happy with the results. This is number Four for me with the salt, This is really lots of fun, Geez, 6 months ago I never heard of this forum, Dr Cranky,or kosher salt, I guess it just keeps getting better, Dosent it????

  24. Ford had a plant locally here in Kingsford Michigan, they made the wooden bodies there, it closed in 51, a lot of history here in my neck of the woods...
