  1. Didn't even think of it.
  2. Anyone happen to had a rear bumper mount for a Johan Mercedes kit, either the Coupe (Limo) or the Roadster will work. Part # 43 on the chrome tree. My frame was dropped and landed on the bumper mount. It has shattered into a million parts.
  3. You just replace the whole thing with V8 Supercars.
  4. Can't be. A 74, and a 77 were completly different cars. Perhaps a 75-79. The 74 was like the 68,69,70,71, 72, 73 body. Different bumpers, grill, turn signals, fender coners, tail lights. 75 was a completly different body. One could probably make a 74 from a 69 Revell kit.
  5. Um. I think it's a Chevy Pickup Truck ... K1500? Silverado 1994-1997ish
  6. Actually it peaked in 1999 and been slowly but steadily loosing ground to SCCA sports car racing, Grand Am, an ALMS. I agree, it is business, pure entertainment and nothing else. Moreover, NASCAR couldn't have made more clear if they spelled it out that was all they were interested in, putting on the show and sell as many tickets as possible. In my opinion, NASCAR completely misses the point of racing cars. There isn't anything on a moderen NASCAR that has trickled down to the street in 60 years if ever. They still run 3500# mild steel tanks that are carborated. Even the Japanese gave up on carbs 20 years ago. I heard they were going to run fuel injection and ethanol 2011? What are they trying to be like V8 Super Cars? Not even close. It's the political green thing to do? Donno. In any event, it's not worth fighting over. Some people go to the moves, some to a concert, some go the ballet, and some to NASCAR, at the end of the day they are all kind of in the same sphere, and you really can't fault anyone for that.
  7. Oh come on, I think they use a Toyota sticker on it.
  8. I can't help thinking about the Lancia Stratos. The original prototype was a ridiculous looking thing, but some how it birthed one of the best looking cars of all times.
  9. Adam is too slow...
  10. Yeah, no it's not a Huh. Try again.
  11. Okay, you probably think you know what it is, but you are probably wrong
  12. We have a couple of the best in the country.
  13. Colorado Springs. That video actaully hit our local Denver news. Not as bad up here. It was colder, just as much snow but colder. That right around freezing snow is slippery here and they (the Springs) was just north of the freezing line.
  14. I have been working on a tub corrected a bunch of that missing sheet metal, and opened the doors, and the sun roof. I haven't quite figured out the suspension yet.
  15. I think the other part of the problem with suspension hight is they always put the low profile tires, which they didn't typically run. So, yes, the floor is sitting on the ground and it's still not low enough to look right. Taller tires would help some I think.
  16. There is a standard RS kit from Fujimi. It also seems the smaller the car the more parts. The little tiny Ferrari Dino EM kit has 252 parts. Very similar to the 85 Carrera I am building now, which I have cut up into 2 million parts.
  17. CAL

    Ferrari Enzo...

Yes, looks fantastic, I have a few of these kits and building one of them now. Also have the Scale Motorsport set, which is really designed for the super set and not as good stand-alone. I also had a Hobby Designs set. It is a little bit of an overwhelming kit, and I might have gone a little overboard...
  18. Working on an Enzo and Porsche 911. I guess whatever else I might fancy. I been looking at the new Audi A4 DTM cars.
  19. Well it is only the 5th most deadly track just ahead of Indianapolis. It is the longest in the world, with over 100 coners. It takes more than 100 laps to memorize (the first step at any track) and 250 laps to min to start getting good and fast at.
  20. Nope not really. I have everything from 1/2400 scale aircraft carriers to 1/4 scale figure models.
  21. The Nurburgring in big trouble. A couple of political morons sold the track on build a theme park to drive in more revenue. They skewed the numbers and promised finacing and now with the facility half built they are looking at a 400-million euro debt, which may spell the end of the famed Green Hell (Nurburgring)
  22. Just put a T-belt and wp on it and it should be good. Oh wait, I guess not even that...
