    exactly what i was thinking. id have never figured out which type of car to start the conversion with. its amazing watching the elite builders and how some are skilled highly in different areas. i enjoy watching these guys build, fabricate and customize. the thunderbird is truly a work of art that shows your skill set is amazing.

    give it a try on a junk body.

    about 8 to 10 inches away. you want to get it hot but not hot enough to do damage. just keep it moving.

    i think i can get most of the parts i need from the stocker. i love those old falcons.

    works great with or without primer. i tried to get better pictures but my phone can be stubborn at times.

    i usually do a few light coats with about 10 minutes between then one heavier coat. i go over the car with a hairdryer and get the paint hot but not enough to warp or damage the model. I never polish them but i don't show them either. i just painted this 54 im sure its not up to everyone's standards but its good enough for me.

    just completed 4 trades. oldcarfan27... mredjr... sam i am... slusher... all of these guys are great traders, id trade with any of them again..
