  1. never tried that one. I'll have to give that a try.
  2. about 8 to 10 inches away. you want to get it hot but not hot enough to do damage. just keep it moving.

  4. i think i can get most of the parts i need from the stocker. i love those old falcons.

  6. works great with or without primer. i tried to get better pictures but my phone can be stubborn at times.
  7. i usually do a few light coats with about 10 minutes between then one heavier coat. i go over the car with a hairdryer and get the paint hot but not enough to warp or damage the model. I never polish them but i don't show them either. i just painted this 54 im sure its not up to everyone's standards but its good enough for me.

  14. i always have good results with krylon, duplicolor and rustoleum. i have had bad results with cheap paint.
  15. i always do this. it seems to work fine for me. i use a hairdryer with just a few passes over the car.
  16. i meant to get a picture of the engine. it has a wicked 440 in it.
