  1. Thanks Jim yea their small. Be interesting to see how they turn out.
  2. This started as an athearn 40' trailer which i have modified and still doing clean up work on it. First up stock trailer pic before mods. Using the wiring for my brake airlines under the trailers Added an aftermarket reefer TK reefer unit from AWM Modeles have several A-line parts going into this build including a working slider with spokes pics soon. Plus the bill box also going to light the truck and trailer not sure what'll power this yet but it's getting there at snail speed. More to follow. Enjoy
  3. Like the Mack R lots of scratchbuilding ahead on this one. Frame, suspension, axles, ect ect. As for the trailer the kit I bought is very rough pewter so I will be remaking the parts from evergreen plastic using the metal kit as a guide. Will also be building a jeep and dog for this trailer. Lots on my plate as you can see.
  4. This arrived in the mail today lots of scratchbuilding ahead but here's the cab. I'll be fabricating just about everything else. Not sure if this will be a heavy haul or a cow chow truck/trailer More to follow.

  11. Cool remember the frame ends just before the end of the dump bed floor. Drove my share of rock wagons. Before settling on cold box & Skate Boards.
  12. This is an old project I just re-found it started as a Boley 1/87 scale IH 4900 crew cab water tanker. Chassis was not the greatest junk it went. Had a u-haul 1/87 scale truck labeled for a bread company swiped the cab and a few other parts from it. As i'm going to be building an S-series FD water tanker. This will include a scratchbuilt frame, suspension, axles including a steerable front axle, 2 hole buds painted red with silver outer lip, working light's, pe grill, mirrors, new paint after stripping. More to follow
  13. Some great looking progress going on there.
  14. Wicked what's the energy per mile on this lol
  15. What's the challenge date on this from when to when ?
  16. Definitely a 70's era truck really like this. What shade is the green you used on this beast.
  17. Seriously unreal building skills really like the way this truck is coming together.
  18. Nice looking project following with interest . Is the front of the cab flat or does it have a slight lean back to it.
