Very nice work the brand name is generally on the bottom of parts or the part of the chassis that is not visible

i guess i misread and misunderstood what you did i thought you redid the paint work exactly as it had been since the clear coat had yellowed

Yeah that’s true some people like super detailed builds others like simpler decent detailed kits and some like simple detailed kits some people like metallic and pearls colored paints and some like normal gloss colored paints and some like flat or patina colored paints

Very nice work looks great I thought about getting a moebius car kit once until I saw how the chassis are designed and I said nope not for me to many parts to complicated I prefer simple chassis with limited parts moebius car kits are like some of the amt kits that are way more complicated then others and I prefer separate interiors from the chassis which those same amt kits that have the complicated chassis also don’t have leaving me to have to find compatible replacements in the chassis and interior style I like to build the more they over design the model kit the easier it is to stop up the build

I redid my amt 71 dodge charger model I built a couple years ago I did a engine swap and used a early 70's version of the 426 hemi engine instead of the late 60's version of the 426 hemi I painted it rust-oleum 2x gloss real orange and used jet black for the roof and the taillight panel and hood bulge I used some aftermarket charger nameplate decals and all 3 of the rt decals came from the mpc 68 coronet rt convertible kit decal sheet I have a song that came out in 71 playing in the background of the video

Modern ones from round 2 also have copywrite info on the interior side of the roof when I initially bought it the person had something with a adhesive backing covering the inside roof plus back when I bought it I was new to car models did not really know anything about the history or that the older toolings had more detail then later ones and the fact that mpc and amt would retool their models to reflect the current model year I lost 50 dollars on what was supposed to be a vintage 68 charger built up

Thank you sadly only the front and back chrome is all that is vintage when I bought this it was already a built up this is the second time I redid it but I was told it was a original 68 I paid a lot for it only to find out when I popped it apart that the body was a modern 69 reissue from 2009 going by the copywrite info on the roof and the person had cut out the original tail light panel and replaced with one from a revell 68 and the taillights turned out to be glass beads it was not the only one I was scammed out of a lot of money on from the same seller at a flea market
