this was pieced together model i had a 71 duster body i used a 75/76 dart chassis and interior pan and glass 71 duster front seats and spoiler i had in my part boxes , i got the dash and front and back bumpers from my friend tom geiger i got the grille and hood are from harts resin the wheels and tires are from my part boxes and the 440 6pack was peiced together from various mopar 440 engines and parts from a duster engine that looked like a 440 six pack air cleaner since the the 440 engin parts were for the magnum versions with the smaller round air cleaners i peiced the 440 numbers together from other duster/dart stripes that had 340 the decals for the main duster stripes were a liitle old and they required some trimming to make them fit around the door handled and they broke apart and i tried to peice them back together as best as i could the ones for the tail light panel i had to cut out the film that covered the taillights after i put them on and they did not want to lay right i painted it in testors one coat lacquer electric pink over black primer

thanks no i sometimes i use rustoleum metalic aluminium sometime i use krylon short cuts chrome to redo all the chrome as i do not like the mirror like chrome the kit parts come in it is a pain in the but to get good pics of the model when it is super sunny out it reflects the sun back and screws up the light balance of camera or it bounces into my eyes and i see spots

i made this from a a 70 gtx front and back end i cut down to mearge with the center of the body of a 78 dodge monaco sedan i scratch made the the hood and tail lights and the door handles i got from my friend tom geiger they are from fireball modelworks it was a very hard conversion and i wish there was not a twist in the body i tried to match up the shape lines so when i cut away the front and back end parts from the monaco body they would be the same shape lines that the 70 gtx parts have but the hardest part was rejoining the two halfs of the gtx parts after cutting down to make them work with a 1/25th scale monaco body i originally was going to put a 440 in it but i cut to much of the firewall away and trying to get the engin to line up and fit was impossible so i just glued the scratch made hood down i also modded a 70 gtx dash to look like a normal satellite dash other than those issues i do still like this model and i learned stuff while working on it that i an use later

this is a what if dodge had not discontinued the demon and kept it going as a option for the standard dodge dart sport line and kept the 71/72 grille and hood design the front end parts are resin casted parts and the hood is from the 70 dodge dart hemi hunter model i cut to fit the 75/76 dart sport body as best as i could it laid flat nicely before i had added the resin front end parts
