nice work i am sure she will love it -
this started out as a 68 gt500 but since i already built one i decided to do a 68 gt350 the original chassis was warped very badly so i used a chassis from my part boxs and so was one half of the engine block so i curbsided it which i do not like having to do i gave it moolded in side pipes since ther was no rear facing exhaust i painted the body and all the exterior chome in krylon short cuts antique bronze i repositioned the fog lights below the front bumper and next to each other the two rear to front angled pics are missing cause they did not turn out good eneough to post one was out of focus and the other was slightly blurry so i changed the way i layed out the pics

shapeways does the printing and sends the printed model or parts you ordered
-
this is a 3d printed body and dash from shapeways the seller has them listed as 1/24th scale slot cars bodies and the interior and chassie are from a 1/24th 70 t/a challenger the wheels and exhaust tips and stearing wheel are from my parts box the the decals i had made by a friend though the edges were easily seen in the front and back 3 quarter angle shots so i did not keep them i painted the top half in testors one coat lacquer star spangled blue and the bottom half in rustoleum aluminium

i got this amt/ertl snapfast plus kit at a fleamarket the decals were mostly shot as in holes puntured through some from sprues some dented from the sprues and some scratched andchiped away i did what i could to salvage them i swaped out the front tires as they were to small and narrow plus due to them being hollow it was hard to put the rims back in them when they poped out while squezzing the wheels on to the axel i swaped them out with a bigger and thicker set from my parts box i also added some extra detial to the interior from a sat radio with gps screen to the dash to speakers on the door to seat belt decals for the front and back seats and a some gauge cluster decals i painted the body gloss white and then aplied a white pearl coat over top of it this is my first pick up model and most likely my only unless i can find some more snap kit ones maybe a ford and a dodge then i can have one truck from each of the big 3 cause most of the truck models have these multi piece chassies and i am not a fan of them on car models plus i am more of a car model gal so truck models don't interest me mutch like real trucks and suvs don't interest me mutch the only real truck i like is the tesla cyber truck and thats cause of it's futuristic sci-fi look
