  1. Hi! It has often been said that the Sportsroof (fastback) 69/70 Mustang had such a perfect roof that many a customizer attempting to "chop it" ended-up with no so convincing results. Armed with this knowledge, I decided to alter the car, but to get the roof chopped lengtwise, instead of vertically. I started with a rare Long Nose Mustang Funny Car body (AMT 1969), a gluebomb that I cleaned-up, and grafted the cowl, windshield, and front roof section of an AMT 69 Mach One, joined with the actual rear roof section of the FC body. It provided me with a long wheelbase, and I scribed door lines, hood and trunk lines, to make it a street car. The interior features Revell's Corvette Indy seats, a 58 TBird dash, Enzo ferrari rolling stock and scratchbuilt door panels, console, shifter, brake levers, seat belts, pedals, column with flasher, rear platform, speakers, various accessories in the cargo bay, etc. Custom Cognac candy, Molotow's chrome accents. A fun curbside to experiment with a styling idea! Hours of fun with styrene! CT
