Great kit but I didn’t like the black body colour so went for yellow with black rims instead...I have another in the stash I plan to do in light blue, just waiting for some aftermarket decals to arrive

Took a few liberties with body colour and decals here, but for me that’s one of the joys of modeling...to have the freedom to create whatever you like

I used Tamiya Racing Blue for the body colour, perhaps a bit darker than on the real car but still contrasts nicely with the white decals

Hi Slimguy, no issues with this kit at all. It all went together brilliantly, it’s basic, not too many parts but looks great when completed. I’d like to do a few different versions in future

Had some real difficulty with the Studio 27 decals, I couldn’t get the large decals to fit correctly over the contours of the car body, they just wouldn’t sit flush and looked terrible. Not much experience with this so need to research how to do this effectively for next time. So I ditched the full livery and made do with the ones I could work with. So a bit of a unique result which I’m still happy with...

Built this in yellow about 10 years ago, it became a bit of a dusty wreck so I rebuilt it with a new racing livery...

Trying to be a bit creative with some Ferrari liveries...

Hey, the wheels are Aoshima Advan 19inch race wheels, decals for the black version from FFSMC Productions (not the easiest to apply), decals for the yellow version are just some random leftovers from other kits, and the rear wings are Tamiya Ings 2 Power Wing kit, came with 4 different rear wings and decals. I built both as standard out of box street versions years ago then developed an interest in GT3 Racing cars so decided to convert them
