  1. Another fantasy livery on one of my favourite models to build. I saw a similarly coloured GT2 online some time ago and liked the colour scheme so I gave it a try. I resisted the urge to go too crazy on decals with this one, preferring a simpler and cleaner look. Tamiya Silver Leaf and Racing Blue. These Tamiya GT2’s are relatively cheap to buy and have so much potential to produce unique and imaginative results. More to come…
  2. Wow this looks very cool
  3. Not at all mate, it’s a wonderful kit and it’s so cool to see so many different interpretations and liveries.
  4. Looks awesome, I also did the same livery on my GT1 and it’s one of my favourites on the shelf
  5. Beautifully done. My late father restored and regularly drove a red one of these. I’ve always loved them and the wondrous sound of the 3.8L engine.
  6. Wow the detail in this is breathtaking
  7. Yes they look so good as street versions too, I look forward to seeing yours when it’s done
  8. Hi Jhedir6, thanks for your comment. And yes I think you’re right about the wheels. I had a difficult job fitting the rear one and I couldn’t figure out why, as everything else went together so well. I’d removed the wheels from the sprues and then wrongly assumed they were all the same. Good pick up and lesson for next time, thanks ??
  9. Hi TransAmMike, yes an easy build, it went together perfectly. I recommend you get started on yours next!
  10. Nice colour combination, I believe these kits are challenging to build, you’ve done a great job
  11. It would have been a tough trip! Great looking model
  12. Never perfect but always fun to build. I took some inspiration from the Australian V8 Supercars Castrol Mustang red and green and with a bit of imagination and some decals from the spares collection I came up with this version of Tamiya’s GT4 Mustang. A lovely kit to build as many of you have experienced. I have another ready to go with the Volt Racing livery, they should look good together
  13. Flawless build of a great looking Porsche
  14. I love this livery, and you’ve done a wonderful job of it!
  15. Looks sharp, I have one nearly finished such a great kit…well done!
  16. Wow! All the little carbon fibre details look amazing and a great looking livery!
  17. A flawless build of a great looking car. Is that a little Pajero there too? Looks very cool, great work on both
  18. An outstanding job on a beautiful kit…well done!
  19. I loved the livery of this Nissan but these kits are very hard to come by and as a result very expensive. So I bought the Calsonic version and the Pennzoil decals from Indycals and this is the outcome. A beautifully engineered Tamiya kit with everything fitting perfectly, but at the same time this was a challenging build for me, including masking and decals. But from a bit of distance I think it has come up well. I’m working on a new background for photos but in the meantime this one sits in my garage
  20. Nice one, I have a couple of these lined up next too. Yours look great ?
  21. Great work on a very cool car…?
  22. I really like these Revell F1 kits and yours looks very well done. Like Rich said they can be tricky but you’ve nailed it
  23. This is so cool, absolutely spot on!
