  1. That has nothing to do with the primer below lifting or anything like that . It is clearly in the color coat but what exactly it is not sure . You sure it's not just dust that was in the air ??

  6. Local Auto zone has lacquer thinner for like 7 a quart. Thin testors enamel for airbrush all the time with it. Works great
  7. Thanks Steve. Since there's no way to foil the script perfectly cause it's so small, what do you do about any left over foil that's on the car under the paint and not on the script ? Thank you very much man
  8. Hey guys You guys all build some spectacular models . I was wondering how the heck you are able to bare metal foil really small writing like on trunk lids or fenders, etc ? I can't even imagine how you can manage that. Can someone please give me a quick run down on it ? As always thanks so much ! You guys are the best !! Ken
  9. Hey guys Sorry to ask a dumb question here , but I was reading this post and have the same exact thing to accomplish. Some really small scripts on the belvedere to make chrome . By reading this I cannot figure out exactly how you guys go about doing this . Your works looks excellent . Can someone please explain to me how to do that to very small scripts ? Thank you all so much. Having so much fun since getting back into modeling !!

  12. Been getting alot of work done on the belvedere lately ? test fitting everything all together and somehow everything is fitting really well for the most part ! The viper v10 and even the air intake plumbing are gonna fit and yes fit under the hood !! Comments always welcome. Thanks for looking
  13. So I airbrushed my first pieces ever ! They are for the belvedere Ive been sloowly working on. I bought a fairly cheap set to begin with, but it seemed to go really well. Can tell there's gonna be a learning curve as to how far back to full the trigger for paint to come out and be nice and smooth, but for a first effort I think it came out pretty well. I'll post a pic tomorrow when it's dry. I used little testors in the bottle and lacquer thinner to thin it at about a 1 1/2 to 1 paint /thinner ratio

  20. Hey guys I have the little bottles of testors paint. How much should I think them to spray through an airbrush ? 50/50 ? Not sure . Also what should I thin them with ? Testors thinner , rubbing alcohol . Thanks in advance Ken
