OK, my wife & I have been trying some different health food things...seen a lot of topics on fermented foods such as true sauerkraut... found out how to make it...which is basically shred cabbage, cram in jar with salt, fill with distilled water, leave it on counter top...for up to a month!!!!!!?????????
First of all, I can't stand sauerkraut but for all the probiotics raw, natural kraut has, I'm trying it. We didn't do it right the first time, opened the jar...oh no...did we just fall into a raw sewage pool??!!! It smelled so bad....I almost puked right there in the kitchen!!!!!! Our next one was better, still a bit stinky....like kraut should, still don't like it :-/ Oh yeah...it stinks up the whole house!!!!
