Thanks, yes that is the plan, I just do not remember what paint I used, so I'm not sure what clear to use..Suggestions? Got the engine all done up, now I need to work on getting that molded driveshaft cleared out. Thanks for looking.

I built this Chevelle way back in 1996, never did like it so it went back in the box, so now I think I'll try a redo on it. The paint just didn't have any shine, so I'll attempt to fix that, I'm also going to do a different engine with some speed goodies.. Longblock-AMT 67 Chevelle Muncie 4 speed- 67 Chevelle Intake- Offy Port-O-Sonic- AMT 57 Chevy SM Scattershield-Lakewood-parts box. FST carb- parts box Vertex mag-scratchbuilt with 10.5mm plug wires Hooker headers- 67 Chevelle I don't work real fast, but hope to get it done in a month or so.

Very sharp build, what is the paint used on the top half, looks like granite.

From this picture, it looks like you just need to add some to the boot, as it does not go all the way to the seat.

While we are picking on you you should try putting the chrome trim on the glove box door....would break up all the black on that side. Its looking real sharp thou.

That is a beautiful job, the paint is really nice. But, the floor reflection distracts how nice the paint really is..

The Monogram 57 Chevy has a nice one, would be easy to make copies. I did some searching and just could not find anything aftermarket.. good luck.

Could someone please give more info on why they think this kit doesn't go together well. I've built several and have had no problems with it's assembly. Cruiser66, if this is one of your first builds, you did good, they will get better the more you do. Just don't give up...

In 4x4 trucks with the FE engine, the pan sump is to the rear. They use a different oil pick-up tube and the dip stick is in the side of the oil pan opposed to a regular set-up where the dip stick is in the side of the block. Hope this helps.

Yeah, that can get on the nerve. Maybe try weathering? I know its not for every one, but it has saved me tons of money. Working on this one right now, it had been painted and stripped so much i can not remember how many colors I tried,
