  1. I'm not so worried about the wrinkling as much as the yellowing and the peeling off. A good coat of clear over a model at the end improves the whole look of any model, and keeps it looking good for many years into the future. No pun intended.
  2. Great job, Dustin. Great detailing as usual.
  3. Another home run, Tim. Best I've seen of this car.
  4. Doc, you are not alone in your findings of bmf not sticking that well. I bought some directly from bmf and it works a little better then the old stuff but i can remember a couple of years back it was a much better product, stuck like crazy, but not anymore. Its a shame because when it worked right its much better then molowtow pen. I find that the molowtow works better shot from an airbrush.I will p.m. you a picture of chrome wheels shot from airbrush using molowtow
  5. i stand corrected. instead of praising the decals I should have praised the decal installer. Great job getting those things down where they look fantastic.
  6. Your usual source or are these powerslide? whatever, they look amazing.
  7. Wow, Decals look Awesome.
  8. The only thing about not clearing it is that the decals might lift and curl up in the future. Pun not intended. The floor finish will definitely not cause the decals to lift and curl up.
  9. Paint looks superb.
  10. Future will not hurt decals at all from my experience. And I have'nt found it to yellow them with age either.
  11. Only the roofs are the same. I took a 2 door sedan roof off of a dodge and put it on a plymouth to make iggy katonas Plymouth race car that he campaigned for a while in 1965.
  12. You sure do. Where did you find those?
  13. Cool, I've always wanted to do this one and now I will have a guide on how to do it.
  14. Is this the one that is white and has the number 3 and that glotchback drove?
  15. your welcome.
  16. Looks great, Dave. Looking forward to more of your 88's
  17. Looks great. The fit looks like its working out perfectly. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you. Wips are my favorite thing about model making.
  18. You should be pleased. Excellent build.
  19. Excellent job, Neil. Very clean.
  20. Yes, this picture looks totally different then the one at the top of the thread. I'd say you're good to go with what you have . No repaint required.
  21. How does it look in the sun? To me the gray or silver part looks much darker then the photo at the start of the thread. jmho. Shouldn't the "Allied Box" decal on the quarter panel be silver not gold?
  22. yup, forgot about that one.
  23. I take it these are Winston west cars? I didn't think nascar used 4 door cars till they started using the fusion, chevy ss, and camry a few years ago?
  24. Awesome, I've really been looking forward to this one being finished. Beautiful build of a beautiful car. So was this car ever run again, other then Riverside? Like maybe a short track?
