  1. Yes, more trailers, like a REAL good accurate heavy haul Low Bed
  2. That trailer was originally issued with the Pete 359, and the kit included a Gen 3 Camaro, and Firebird, the decals were "Prestige Auto Carriers".... the truck and trailer were white with dark blue and gold decals.... it was a NICE kit, ...
  3. I can almost hear that engine and air compressor rattling under the hood already ..............
  4. THAT is EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Top Drawer !! These were only usually found in the older trucks, they kind of went out in the 1970's when new regulations came into effect ( here in British Columbia ) with having to have the two low air warnings, being a light and a buzzer, but I always thought they were cool...the idea of the Wig Wag is that if you had low air it would drop down in front of the driver and wag back and forth to get his attention , it was full air pressure that kept it up in the stowed position. So if the truck sat for any length of time or the driver drained the air tanks the wig wag would drop...... would love to have one in my collection, if I can ever find one... NICE job and an excellent detail to add to your awesome build ! Jeff
  5. No, it is an old school Low Air warning device that is usually mounted to the top of the cab in front of the driver to show he has low air...
  6. Love this, and the water tank is a very cool addition, a thing that was regularly seen here in British Columbia on our trucks, also don't forget the "wig-wag' in the cab for the brakes ( LOL ) awesome job on this build.... I love this Jeff
  7. WOW, that's gorgeous
  8. OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. MASTER CLASS in every respect... this is just plain awesome !! Jeff
  10. All I know about that B.C. Highways Ford is, that is was supposed to be 'experimental' and it was the only one in service, I know the guy in the photo, I could ask him, to see what he remembers if you guys want.... Brian, your build turned out fantastic, what a great job, it is spot on for sure !
  11. This old girl, was an experiment for the B.C. Highways Department back in the day, a single axle with a 6-53 Detroit, 5 spd 2spd rear end on air, made a great plow truck...
  12. This is spot on !! I remember the front fenders and hood moved and rattled like crazy on the old cement truck I drove back in the day, and you modeled that Detroit to perfection ! I LOVE this.. Jeff
  13. That is gorgeous !!
  14. This is just crazy GOOD !
  15. This is spectacular ! Love the color of the truck, gen set is spot on
  16. SPECTACULAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could find a copy of the KFS Holmes wrecker body, These KFS trans kits are awesome, well done !!!
  17. Thanks, Charles, that makes perfect sense, now I finally understand, it just seemed to me a rather dangerous prospect to have an open cab...... I get it now... I have a good buddy who is a firefighter in Calgary Alberta, and he said he used to ride in the open back of a Ford C cab, in winter he said it was BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH cold ! Again sorry for any highjack, this is all very interesting............. Thanks again, I will now go back to my seat and watch quietly... Jeff
  18. That Olds is a stunner !!!
  19. OK, I have to ask................. maybe someone can shed some light on this for me, first off the master for this truck is awesome, but my question is................ why did they build some of these trucks with NO ROOF???? It seems to me that every fire truck I have seen is spotlessly clean, I would think a fire truck with no roof, would be inherently dangerous ( falling debris) and the fact it would get SO dirty............... what was the theory behind the no roof deal?? I have asked fire fighters that I know and not one can tell me why this was.... don't meant o hijack your thread, but as there is a photo on this page, I thought maybe one of you guys may know..... Jeff
  20. To my old weak eye, it is the roof line that nails this conversion...... before you finish the build, you should resin cast a few of these just for giggles...... ?
  21. Really cool, love the attention to detail, especially the 'horn ring'...... loving this, Bill.... Jeff
  22. Wow, that is really coming along nicely ! I love this..... watching with great interest.... Jeff
  23. Yes, RCMP, had 4 doors, my brother in law, said the best Highway Patrol car he ever has was a 73 Impala with the 454, went like stink, and held the road beautifully... he absolutely loved that ride............ today's best ride, according to my two buddies here, and my nephew, is the Chevy Tahoe............. . I wish the RCMP decals were 'allowed' to be printed, but as usual due to 'copy right' stuff, they can't be readily printed for us guys, and guess who holds the 'copyrights' to the crest?.................................... nope not the Canadian Federal Government............... but ........... Disney............... go figure that one... I can't..... watching with great interest....
