  1. Jup, that I meant. Sorry, should've been more clear. The 4.2 was also a straight six, but it is basically a 3.8 with bigger bore.
  2. There is no V6 E-type But you do have nice cars in that list. Plus, I am basically sure that within a year, we will have a FF or F12 as a kit.
  3. Thanks guys! I hope to post a nice update tomorrow, since I clearcoated all the parts that needed to be. I basically have the frame altogether, except for where I had to wait on the bodyparts. @Old Albion, correct, actually this engine consist of 2 3cilinder 2-stroke engines, welded together to get a straight six
  4. Never done it before, but thought of doing it for a future project. They way I would go is to cut the frame in halve and make a new section of styrene. Sand it smooth and it should be ok.
  5. well, I finally made the decision and ordered the set. Now I have to wait a couple of weeks for it to come.
  6. The interior is also nicely detailled and if you look good, that 3rd man would be seriously uncomfortable, having all those sticks between his legs. And the finished engine:
  7. The other side got some more parts too. These cross-members are a pain, they are hard to line up and hard to keep up right. I wished Revell had done the engineering a little different.
  8. The front axle and radiator got placed, Together with the rear axle The engine got more dressed up as well. A better view
  9. Thanks Dan! After a long busy period, I managed to get some more work done on the Krupp. I actually want to finish it within the next 2 weeks. So I can finish up some other work. I started yesterday morning with the frame, it is now red semigloss and is ready to receive more parts. This is the finished rear-axle. Front axle And the start on the engine, which is nicely detailed, but that will be visible later on in this update Some more parts added to the frame
  10. Weird car, the front is an Enzo, the back is a FXX Never mind, I just saw EDO on the body, explains it.
  11. I'd rather saw this coming to production: So much closer to their 'normal' cars.
  12. You might be able to do it with Alclad?
  13. So, it probably sits somewhere in a dusty garage waiting to be (re)discovered, kind intrueging.
  14. I have no idea what the story is, but I jammed in some terms for a google search for the Car ID game, and in between the results, this appeared. And I really liked it. I'm sorry there is no more to it hahaha
  15. I stumbled upon this beauty: I like it
  16. I don't have any plans for a huge quantity, but getting this was actually cheaper than getting a retailset of 2 pounds. So, easy choice.
  17. very nice subject and the body looks quite sharp.
  18. I knew it wasn't genator, but couldn't think of the right spelling, Thanks Jacen
  19. Does it matter? It's not what it's called, it's what you do. For example, a genator (person who cleans and stuff) was called a genator, now they are called floormanagers. So how much does it matter?
  20. Up to the more serious stuff, I bought 25 pounds of resin, so I can start pouring my own parts. I have felt to do this for a long time now, I keep searching for parts that do not exist and I'd like to make copy's of my scratchprojects. Especially with the way I am heading, I want to get more into this stuff. To make the molds, I got also 12,5 pounds of silicons together with some plast, appearantly I need it hahaha. And as a nice bonus, my RoG 1/12 Mustang came in to, it needs to be reviewed for the Dutch IPMS
  21. My new goodies I go this week: A truck accesories set, hopefully can be to use when I start my wrecker-project. A free Copperhead snap-kit, I have great plans with this nice looking concept The Hasegawa XJ-S TWR, not the best looking Jag, but it's ages very well and starts looking better and better. Just because I like Jaguars and it came with a very desirable kit for me. This one: The Gunze Sangyo High-Tech E-type (airfix rebox) and what a kit this is! I've been looking for one for a very long time and found this one for less than 30 bucks. It barely has plastic parts, it comes with so much white-metal and photo-etch that it scares me to build. A nice addition to my old car builds, don't you love those nice shapes from the overdone '30s and '40s?
  22. Why have to be all those good things be so far away, I wish I could be there. For that plate alone already hahaha
  23. Gregg did made a list not that long ago with a handful of foreign vendors, maybe Harry knows where that list can be found. @Harry, that explains, I thought the contest issue was a extra issue that wasn't part of the normal issue's.
  24. That's not it, I even don't have a subscription, (due to overseas costs and being unemployed) but I do follow the issue's. Just because it interests me.
