Altered Ego

I want to echo what papajohn97 said. I am impressed and jealous all at the same time. I can't wait for the Moebius kit so I can add this one to my collection. A very nice piece of work and even I am amazed at your productivity.

Two that immediately come to mind will be the Delmar Heinatt Seaton's Shaker and Malcolm Durham's Strip Blazer AWB Chevelles. These will be great in my collection.

I am impressed with how this turned out and even more impressed with some of the details. However, like cobraman, I am completely blown away that this only took a week and a half!

I love the concept and the primered tilt hood and fenders make the whole thing period correct. Very nice work.

I think it's great. I did this one as the Osburn Trucking Galaxie. What makes your shelf of shame makes my prize possession shelf.

This is great! I hadn't even thought of the Jungle Jim Hercules car. Don't be surprised if I study this and copy it. I built my first one as the Steve Bovan 396-II car. My second one was the same kit bash you did, except that I built mine as the Dick Harrell altered wheelbase car. You can see both on my thread here, Altered Wheelbase Fun.

These are incredible and well done. I can't wait to see the rest of your "binge build". I will also be looking on here to see what else you have built. This was a great time in drag racing history and you have nailed two very fast and famous race cars.

Here is my second build of the Moebius '65 Nova Gasser. I had this planned from the time I first saw this kit. Unfortunately, virtually nothing is interchangeable between this kit and the Twister altered wheelbase Nova. I cut down the chassis from the Moebius kit and mated it with the Twister body. It required ALOT of surgery. I used the Twister big block and dash panel to keep it true to the Dick Harrell car. The wheels and tires are from the Moebius Golden Commandos AWB kit.

I don't build many non-drag race cars, but here are a couple of coupe builds I enjoyed doing.

These are some old builds from the days before I painted the chrome trim. While these are not up to the standards of the talented people on this site, they are some pretty cool cars from back in the day. Maybe someday I will get around to redoing some of them.

Thank you for the comment on the door handles. Check mine out on the Altered Wheelbase Fun thread. I broke two sets of door handles trying to remove them from the tree. Very cool build btw.

I always love to see something different. The 62 is incredible and the 63 very nice as well. Great job.

My first attempt at the Moebius Chevy II is a lame attempt at the Steve Bovan 396 supercharged Chevy II. The only departures from the box kit is the big block Chevy from the Model King Twister kit and the cut down Willys traction bars.

I love it! A very nice build. This is the one I am hoping Moebius will do.
