Wow, the chrome looks perfect. Is that the chrome pens again of some other finish?

The electric fans are pretty much a "period" ender. And the wheeled trolley is pretty cool. The wire screen does look like a good match for the 1:1.

The shocks are right on the money. The tech keeps getting better and better year to year if not day to day. Look at what you can do today that we wouldn't have even dreamed of a couple of years ago. I know you've updated the tech on this Bentley but I think the body should really rest on saw horses.

And then I get lost in choosing the right engine for a 32 Duce. the V12 will take some frame stretching and anything with the Lasalle tranny will need even more mods. -

What then of the lathe or mill or machine in general that preforms it's task by way of digital input. The dremel is simply a motorized hand tool and does not operate independantly unless incorporated into a digitally controlled motorized operating system. Digital in this case not referring to fingers or toes.

I was also going to suggest stacking the shim stock to shape in mass. The friction discs would be a simple 3D print. It seems like a shame to cover up all those amazing details with a body François.

Very cool project and I love seeing you scale down the English wheel for shaping the body panels. If I am not mistaken (often the case) I saw a proposal for the 1:1 car to be built for some rich South American land baron. At the time there were many suggestions for motor and tranny such as a Corvette LS1 and transaxle, which, to my mind, was the wrong direction. I was going to suggest using two Offenhauser 255 blocks and fab a custom crank case. This would give the car a 510ci straight 8, with all the porting and cam profiles worked out, and piston & rods, valvetrain parts readily available. Kind of a throwback to the Miller 8s which is what inspired Ettore Bugatti to base his twin cam layouts. Just a suggestion. Looking forward to your final solution. -
At the moment you can get some new /old Paasche VL double action airbrushes, full kits on the-bay for really good prices. I prefer the double action brush since it has more control and the action is closer to my full size guns. Be meticulous in your cleaning and it will last a lifetime. If you are going for larger models, 1/8 scale I would go with a small touch-up gun Binks or Devilbiss.

Can you imagine 1/64 scale? Scaling digitally, at least in the CAD programs is pretty simple. I build my parts in 1:1 and scale them as (for example) 24=1 for 1/24th etc. We may take it for granted that the parts will print out the same size however we don't really know how that is translated in the printer. All the parts should be relative in scale to each other when printed on the same machine. To find out if the parts are to a specific size we would need to do some test parts and calibrate the printer by adjusting the scale factor of the artwork accordingly. 24.002=1 lets say. Remembering too that there are variables in resolution that may affect the final size. Vendor sourced parts will probably be hit or miss unless the vendor is meticulous in their scaling.
