  1. Very Cool Man! A couple of those guys haven't been out in the sun on the salt long enough to get a tan.
  2. Ignorance and Inaction are weapons of mass destruction.
  3. 2006 Subaru BRAT Pickup with a turbo WRX option.
  4. Work, that thing I have to do more of now that I am retired!
  5. She must have been talking to my wife! There is that whole "red light /night blindness" thing, though it appears that the 39 car had a white light.
  6. I would expect that the lights were used to illuminate the pit marker boards on a dark and stormy Le Mans night. Must have been useful sicne they were used on both the 1937 and 1939 cars.
  7. Wow, This caught on like Wild Fire in wet grass, Maybe get it kick started again... Not sure where else to put this. With all due respect to the original artist, I came across a very cool "electric speed record concept car" design on an internet search and was inspired to do a 1930s LSR car with Gilmore Record Breaker sponsorship. Below are the original and my shopped workup.
  8. Great Speedster! Were the spoked wheels printed also? Spoke size is pretty much right on!
  9. Outstanding collection Bruce!
  10. Fool they called me when I put my life savings into that startup Apple IPO, if only!
  11. 1/24 Mach 3 rocket car (car?) engine.
  12. If you are going Oval racing you need to put the front wheel all the way to the right. Watch Jeremy Clarkson test drive one of these things on Top Gear.
  13. The second one has quite a "Jet Age" look for being years before jets were out there! Second one does show signs of the hood design of the future Chevys (bonnet for you trans Atlantic boys).
  14. since we're doing mundane, The Conga Line!
  15. Ah Those were the days! Truly impressive workmanship and attention to details.
  16. Not sure how useful those tiny tongs will be in moving a half ton of red hot iron.
  17. Higher resolution printed parts take longer (more passes) to print the fine surface parts. In printing for sale business time is money and large surface area parts like tires will take longer. Time verses cost, would you pay 50% more for better finish parts if it took twice as long to print?
  18. "I AM Knot A Robot!"... Ai farms use vast amounts of power to operate. We saw what happened to the dot com industry when the power grid was manipulated with blackouts and rolling browns in 1999. Just takes one squirrel getting fried to take it down again. same with the "Cloud"
  19. A very nice set of decals from "STS scale model decals" from my layouts. Included are a set for a Wenmac Spirit of America, a rocket LSR, my Bugatti LSR, and Barber Warnock and Roar With Gilmore for a couple of early Indy cars. One less Reason to avoid my projects!
  20. And here I thought they were only 'Pruned' for Potvin use. Cool 427.
  21. Thanks for the great info. I expect Marine or aircraft quality epoxy may be more stable than the general craft quality counterpart. I will have to try the microballoon fill technique. I found that the epoxy doesn't seem to 'wet' the glass cloth and allow the fibers to move as freely as with polyester needing more finesse to get it into tight spots.
  22. I see you doing glass work on several of your cars, including the challenger. do you use epoxy rather than polyester resin on the styrene bodies?
