  1. Sawhill, Maybe, but today in Tampa it's Don Garlits 93 Birthday!
  2. Hermit was on the wrong hand, she realized too late, as she reached for the baking tray in the oven.
  3. Watching this year's Dakar rally, there are Not 1, but 2, Citroen CV-2, and a really cool Gulf Porsche in the Historic class!
  4. Fantastic engine work Francois, Hope to see a nice set of side covers with the Hydra logo incorporated, ala Bugatti. The can motor in the blower is a great solution.
  5. Just call it an 'Underslung' and you're golden!
  6. Very beautiful and clean build of one of my favorite cars Garry. Back in the days (early 70s) I was able to stuff a Potvin blown 427 SOHC Ford engine in one of these AMT kits. Had to notch out the foot wells a bit but it fit pretty well.
  7. By the way, Happy Holidays!
  8. Nice "Sled"! Maybe not such a silent night. My creation for this year.
  9. Santa's got Class!
  10. Loud does Not necessarily mean fast!
  11. You've got a fairly short stroke there, what do you think the RPM limit would be?
  12. A while ago I acquired some of these flashlight/laser pointers with a chrome steel flex stalk that I think would be ideal for Deusy and Mercedes exhaust but don't have a comparison. The flex stalk is 4mm diameter 7cm long (.157 in. x 3" ) would they work on this car?
  13. Great build Lobo, it is definitely reminiscent of the 60/70s kit cars. My friend had a dune buggy with an adapted Corvair engine in it (on it?) that would make a great kit car option.
  14. Great scenic work gives your beautiful work and added realism. Thanks for the update.
  15. Scrape it all into a box and sort it out next year!
  16. I just went to their page and did not see an notices... curiouser and curiouser...
  17. So, how do you get air into the intake plenum?
  18. Munchkin representing the Fisher Body Guild was left on the cutting room floor during the editing of Wizard of OZ.
  19. I just happened across it on TCM a couple of days ago so it may be on a streaming channel. Typical late 50s comedy but quite a bit of scenes with the car in action.
  20. I just saw the Futura featured in a 1959 Glen ford Debby Reynolds movie "It Started With a Kiss". Painted red but you get to seee the bubble top and other trick parts in action as they tour Spain in the car.
  21. You can't get a good old Sears catalog anymore so what are you going to do when you run out of toilet paper?
  22. Though it is a key part of flushing the toilet!
  23. Fantastic paint weathering. but the license plate is way to clean and neat.
  24. One of the 3D file suppliers who sold through Shapeways was listed as TDR. mentioned often in this forum. my net search doesn't show a web site for them. They had a wide variety of products in multiple scales.
