  1. I have a setup for both vacuum and pressure pot. The silicon aren't that big a problem however my resin working time is so short that it starts kicking off within a minuet after I start mixing not leaving me time to safely secure the pressure pot lid. Some times it kicks while pouring into the mold. Slower setting resins seem to be more fragile.
  2. What you and your monkey need is a big hand full of nuts and a couple of berries!
  3. Not GM so much as Andretti's way of getting their foot in the F1 door after being shut out for so many years. I believe Mario is the team Principal. The Andretti family's only other option would have been to buy out HAAS. However, being Indy Car competitors that would be highly unlikely. I mean, what is Haas' motivation for being in F1, they aren't an auto manufacturer? Audi had to buy out Sauber in order to get a birth for 2026.
  4. Beautiful... When you took it's picture did it say Cheeees?
  5. I think 'Rush' was one of the better the latest F1 movies, though, despite the backstories of neglected wives and lovers, 'Grand Prix' had some outstanding F1 car action shots especially on the old Monza, Spa, and Zandvoort tracks.
  6. Actually Land speed Record cars are much faster, though in a straight line and over a 5 mile couse. F1 cars are however damn quick in the corners.
  7. Since the frame and running gear are up on a serious support you could mount the body on a body buck as though if was in the process of being fabricated.
  8. Remark Able!
  9. OK, I take that back... Recently I bought a 1/35 scale (military/army man size) model of the De Dion-Buton three wheeler. Many small parts on a par with a 1/43 super kit. Am I worthy?
  10. You've already been bitten by the bug... don't know what they gave you for the spring loaded body hold down handles but here is a reference pic that shows how they work.
  11. In my youth it was the Revel Roth cars. They just seemed so fragile and fiddly. Now days, some 60yr on it is more self imposed detailing that has me hesitating.
  12. What you really need are Kraken tentacles rising up from the floor supporting the car. Stunning work!
  13. You're going to need a bigger bench soon.
  14. Whew, that's a mouth full! Odd,odd,odd,odd Even,even,even,even, Odd,odd,odd,odd Even,even,even,even.
  15. What I love too is that they actually turned them into El Camino pickups!
  16. Wonderful work as always François. What is the firing order on that beast?
  17. Irk Irk Irk... Spray Paints aren't what they used to be, wanted to get some Testors 1244 gold to match an old can I had.. The latest (now rustolum) has way more copper in the pigment, not the same color at all. Then the latest purchase cans of Tamiya primer seem to have a much lower % of pigment solids and dry nearly transparent. Also tend to fisheye badly leaving a goopy rough finish. Never had a problem with them before this year. Back to automotive primers.
  18. Stan Mott designing the 59 Impala... Yea I can see that, he's just wacky enough to come up with those tail lights! My ex had/has a 60 ragtop... Alas I no longer get to ride in it.
  19. Looking good, would one of the AMT bulldozer s fit on it?
  20. Cheap and Inexpensive are not = Always bought quality tools and took good care of them. 40 yr on they still work well.
  21. And this was a collaborative project between Mad Mike and myself drafting a 1/8 scale 60/70s Ford Indy DOHC V8 for prototyping. Mad Mike's build is Epic!
  22. a few of my 1/24/25 model kit engine builds...
