  1. Slusher, Appreciate that from you. The figure model is from Fifthfreedommodels.com on Ebay, the hot tub was made from scratch.
  2. I'm sure we can work out something, do you want me to bring it to the meeting this month (7/20) or do you need it sooner? Have you got a 289/302 to spare? Let me know, Lei
  3. Very good looking truck, especially well done chrome trim work.
  4. Excellent rendition of a street van, ditto on Espo's comments. The tinted rear glass worked out great. I liked the colors and detail of the interior.
  5. Hey Mark,, I have 2 or 3 flatheads from other AMT ford kits. The 49 Merc kit I have is Barris Cruisin and it only has a caddy engine. Could you use a 40, 49, or 53 engine? Lei
  6. I did a search for 2009 Mustang 5 spoke wheels and got about 25-30 pictures of different styles. Most were 18 or 19 inch. These were photos of 1;1 wheels. If you could either take pictures of the ones your daughter has or look through the online search and post a photo on what you need, it would help us. I did find one 2009 mustang kit by Airfix that you could check out to see if the wheels are close. Lei
  7. Here is a pic of the seats Would these work for you?
  8. Thanks Gary, Check out the WIP photos, I did modify the rear suspension a bit and yes she has a yellow bikini bottom on (veeery small). Lei
  9. I should have mentioned that I started with the AMT Bad Company kit in the opening post. I did in the WIP section. If you wanted to see more, you can check it out there. Thanks again for your interest. By the way, I grew up an Ohio Buckeye. Lei
  10. Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment, I appreciate that.
  11. I dud the buttons were with craft acrylic paint using a toothpick, it's the same paint I used to airbrush the interior (thinned w/ windshield washer fluid.
  12. I have a pair of seats from 33 Willys kit that look a lot like the picture, especially the driver seat. I post a photo later today. Happy Birthday!!! Lei (pronounced Lee)
  13. Hat's off to a really great looking kit bash combo.
  14. I'm impressed by the fade, good color choice, and the chrome trim is really nice.
  15. Thank you Bill. there is some "bondo" in it. Lei
  16. Espo, thank you. I appreciate your comments and you builds. Lei
  17. Thanks Jeff, This wasn't a kit, I modified a Bad Company van kit. My name Good Time van is reminiscent of the Good Times Vans of the 70-80s which produced finished tricked out vehicles.
  18. Thanks for posting, good collection of different models and very good photos.
  19. This is the finished Good Time Dodge van, not to be confused with the "Good Times" series vans of the 70's. It was a good learning experience in planning and fabrication and a fun build. I used Dupli color Dodge Silver and Apple Barrel acrylic Candy Apple Red (air brushed). You can see more details in my WIP, Thanks for looking and comments/suggestions welcomed. "Keep on Truckin"
  20. Michael, pm recv'd. Sent the window last mon/tue 1st class regular mail. USPS did this to me before. i have another, will send it priority mail so we have a tracking number. Lei
  21. Apologies for not finishing this until now. A few more of the WIP and the completed van in under glass. I got some figures from The fifth element on ebay, wanted something to spice up the hot tub. Here is the one I used for the van Since the sunroof is frame-less, I used stripped wire tubing to create the seal under the window. I added a CB antenna to the mirror in the above photo. In keeping with the diamond decor I used a cookie tray for the rear glass and used a red marker to simulate the strips between the panes. Added rails, drink tray with coke cans and rear courtesy light to the bed area. I'll post the finished van pics tomorrow in the under glass category. Glad to answer any questions and appreciate any comments. Thanks for looking.
  22. I think the cross ram better matches the larger body and takes advantage of the open wheel wells. Reeks of hi performance.
