  1. Thanks Steve. yup, that's why I cut the hole in the bed so the "C" notch could come up into the bed. Makes for a fine show piece.
  2. Thanks man. I can't get the refills locally so it's much cheaper just to buy the pens.
  3. Looks nice but I have no excess to a 3D printer. Thanks.
  4. I shot all the bright work with Tamiya TS-14 Black and let that set for a day. Just got through with shooting the Molotow Chrome on all the bright work. I poured the Molotow Chrome from the pen to my airbrush and no thinner. Air pressure was set at about 18 psi working air pressure. The temperature was 87° and the humidity was at 58%. I think it turned out pretty good.
  5. I have just started the Monogram 1955 Ford F-100 Street Rod kit. Is there another kit I could rob from or an aftermarket sunvisor that would fit this body? Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.
  6. That's looking really sharp there Donald. That's going to be a fine looking model.
  7. I'm liking it and the other two as well. Nice build.
  8. Thanks Greg. I just hate cutting on resin as it's so brittle.
  9. That looks pretty kewl Mark. Nice weathering.
  10. Turned out pretty nice tom. Great color and the decals look Great.
  11. I'm diggin this build Kenneth. Great looking little drag car. Love that color combo.
  12. Nice looking little drag car. The color fits perfect. Nicely done.
  13. That is turning out to be a nice looking old AD truck Donald. Great engine detail and the paint is spot on.
  14. What a Super kewl build Glen.
  15. That's a rock solid build right there James. Nicely done.
  16. That's a Looker right there Richard. Nice build.
  17. Thanks Hector. Much appreciated man.
  18. Much appreciated Carl.
  19. Much obliged. It was painted with Tamiya Matte Black.
  20. Thanks man.
  21. I hear ya man. I found an old visor that I cut in half and added 3/8" stock to the center section to fit. We'll see if it works out.
  22. That's a pretty looking blue on the ole COE Pat.
  23. I just wasn't satisfied with the wheel base so I cut the chassis back apart and cut another 1/8" off. Now the "C" notch looks better coming through the bed opening and the wheels look positioned much better in the fender openings. I may need to cut out the front fender wells. Still a lot of clean up to do and I still haven't picked a color yet. I need to get on this as I need to get the 427 painted and assembled. I got the first sanding completed on the firewall. It's looking smooth but had a little hole. Picked up some Mr. Hobby White Putty at HL yesterday but this stuff takes 24 hrs to dry. This should be all the putty work. Next I'll hit it with some primer to see what I missed.
  24. Thanks John. Yeah, it turned out pretty nice. I'm happy with it.
