I got the hole cut in the bed and got the chassis rough cut and in place. I may add one more brace and it still needs some clean up.

The body has been wet sanded and polished and doors test fitted and glass installed. Decals, rear bumper, steering column is on the agenda for tomorrow.

That's going to shine like a new penny when you hit it with the clear.

That paint job looks killer there Tony. I hear ya about the paint jobs. Mine are hit and miss.

That's looking pretty sharp man. I like the checker board firewall.

I'm really liking this 57 Chevy pickup build DJ. Some nice history behind the kit. I'll be checking in on this build from time to time.

It's been really slow ever since the switch to the new server. When I click to reply to a post it will either spin for a long time and finally go or it won't go at all.

That chassis looks pretty kewl there Dennis. I'll need to think about how I want to make it fit but shouldn't be to hard. Just need to get back on it. Still trying to finish up my 41 Willy's Gasser.

I worked on the Iceman drop chassis this morning. I set up the kit body and running boards and got my wheel base dimension. I then set up the drop chassis and transferred the wheel base dimension and cut it to length. I glued it together with 5 min epoxy. The chassis will need another modification to fit under the kit body.
