Easy Off does a better job for me. The purple pond does require gloves. Very bad stuff IMO. Heck, anything that eats paint can't be good for ya.

Thanks Paul. I'm not giving up on this build just taking a break from it. The paint has to be removed, there is no way around it. It's setting in Easy Off as we speak. Once it's all cleaned up I'll have to think about how I want to move forward.

Thanks Greg. I'm used to this. My paint jobs are hit and miss. Not sure what I'm going to do with this one. It's going on the back burner for a while. I'll have to be in the mod to drag this one back out. That's two 36 Coupes in a row I've messed up. Not a good record.

Well guys...I made a mess of this one. First off I was getting ready to shoot the clear on and I dropped the body. I got that fixed and then the clear just didn't want to work with me today. Not only that but where is the Sea Blue???. I thought the clear would bring a little of the blue out. This one is going to be seeing some Easy Off. No saving this.

Nice kit Ken. This kit goes together really well. I'll be keeping tabs on this build dude.

That's a Looker Tony. Those colors work off each other very nicely. Love these 41 Willy's.

I sanded & filled the injector pin mark on the bed side and got it all mounted to the chassis. I did a little mock-up with the 3D printed parts just to see if the parts are working together. Looks like I may have to do a little surgery on the wheel openings on the kit.
