Welcome to the MCM forum Don.

Thanks man. I'll probably cover it with bmf and trim out the rag top and hit it with light coats of matt black so it hopefully won't bleed under the foil.

Just got the 2k clear shot on the body about an hour ago. I'm sure learning a lot about 3D printing and how to prep and paint the resin parts. I guess this build it a trail run as I'm leaning as I go along. Hope to do better on the next one.

I do appreciate it DJ. Yup, I think it's a good color combo.
-
What a good looking Hudson Hornet there John. I really like the color combo and the opening lid for the gas cap is pretty kewl.
-
Looking good there Bill. I'm liking the Pearl Apple Green on the body.
-
I had a little time yesterday so I sprayed the topcoat on the body. Should look ok once the black grille is installed. The rubber black running boards and rag top should bring it to life a little better also.
-
Thanks Bill. Yeah, it would probably get the neighbors mad if you fired it up early in the morning.
-
That foil work look pretty nice.

Thanks Spike.

Welcome to the MCM forum Mark. New looking builds.

Nice looking.

Much obliged James. Thanks. Yup, I always liked the 35-36-37. I did the ole fat fenders.
-
I now have a rolling chassis. The engine still needs some detail work but the body seems to fit fine on the first mock-up with the wheels.
-
Thanks. I appreciate it Greg.

Bang up job on this build Bill. I like the drag cars so I'm diggin it.

Boy that looks Super nice there Matt. Nice build. I'll look for it Under Glass. -
Thanks Chris. When I saw the pic of this 35 Ford available as a .stl file I knew I had to get it because I've never heard of a 35 Ford kit being produced before. The whitewalls came out better than expected but it did take two tries on a couple of them.

Welcome to the MCM forum Anthony.

Thanks Carl. Yup. Unique indeed.
-
Thanks Dennis. Yeah, probably not a good kit for a beginner. Keep checking on the ole interweb, they are out there. Much obliged there Carl.

Glad you posted the pics. The build is looking Super nice.

Boy that's got a killer look to it. I really dig the old drag cars and that 67 body style is my favorite. Coming along nicely.

That ole 56 Ford is looking good there Dennis. You've got a Great start on this one.
