  1. I hear ya. One time we were going into a restricted area on the runway where the SR-71 was housed and we got put on the ground the same way. Even though our badges were outlined in red for restricted areas it didn't include that area. What an experience.
  2. I thank you Buddy and thank you for your service as well. I was a Power production Specialist. It was a dual AFSC. I could either work at the base power plant or on the flight line maintaining the Barrier systems. I worked on the flight line. I'll bet that was a crazy job you had.
  3. Much appreciated John. That is just the paint. I have to let it set for at least 3-4 days before I can polish and wax it.
  4. I've printed out a lot of 1/24 scale engines and related parts on my Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra but never really had a 100% fully successful print out but got things to work out. This morning I bought the 454 BBC Supercharged engine .STL file from Andrey Bezrondy on Cults3d.com. This file printed out with 100% success and the detail is Super nice. I'm now thinking some of the files I've been printing out may have not been a quality .stl file.
  5. That's looking mighty spiffy there Steve. Those seats kinda look like the ones that come in the amt 67 Chevelle Pro Street kit.
  6. Good looking Pro Street Cuda.
  7. Can't go wrong with a 55 Chevy. Especially a Pro Mod. Nicely done.
  8. Thanks Dave. I wasn't to sure about the color when I painted it but I think it suites this build just fine.
  9. Thanks Steve. Yeah, it's close.
  10. Looking pretty sharp.
  11. Good looking 49 Merc Bil. Great looking back drop as well.
  12. Looking pretty good there Luke. That pearl color coat will look pretty sweet.
  13. I finally got some good weather so I'm out in the garage this morning doing a little 3D printing and I got the 2K Clear airbrushed on the 41 Willy's PU. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I'll let it set for a few days then give it a good polishing and waxing.
  14. Thanks Buddy. Yeah, maybe 50 years ago I'd take something like this down the 1/4 mile.
  15. I hear ya DJ. This kind of a build will take you where no man has gone before 😁
  16. I know...it's pretty kewl looking. Haha...we did that once with a VW but it was more than 4 guys.
  17. What a Great looking build so far Ian.
  18. When I first saw the picture of this Yellow Fiat I knew I wanted to build something similar. I ordered the Tamiya kit from my local hobby shop and even though it is a 1/24 scale kit this Gentleman is small. I'm shoving a Blown SBC that I printed out in the business end and only running one seat. So far I'm liking how it's looking.
  19. That's a nice looking build of a 56 Nomad as a driver. I can see a family of 4 with their dog heading out for a day at the beach. Great looking model.
  20. Yup, that stance looks much better now.
  21. I think that paint will polish up pretty nice there David. Those Big ole while wall tires really give it the look. The mockup looks pretty sharp.
  22. Haha...Great little story Bill. Good looking kits in the stash and you've got a nice collection of those Mystery white boxes throughout the stash.
  23. This build looks pretty kewl. Nice looking Pro Mod.
