Just finished airbrushing the Tamiya Clear Orange on the hood. Trying to match a custom color is quite the task, for me anyway. I still need to polish it but I think it came out pretty good. I'm a happy camer.

I really like this one. What a good looking Ford Thunderbolt. I was looking to get this kit last year and forgot all about it. I'll have to check into it again after seeing yours. Nice job.

I agree with Larry, that thing is down in the weeds. The color just pops and the wheels & tires look killer. -

Alternatives to Tamiya Fine Surface Primer?

I've used the Rust-Oleum 2X flat white primer a lot and it lays down really nice. I've even sprayed a pearl clear over it for a finished paint job.
