  1. Hobby Lobby also has the 1/32 trailer but no trucks. I thought that was weird.
  2. Yes, I saw all your excuses as to why you don't like using that option but you do have that option.
  3. Yes, that's what I said.
  4. You can get a Visa or Mastercard card that you load with cash and use it anywhere they're accepted, which is pretty much anywhere.
  5. I saw a motorcycle and then the guy that was riding it sliding across the pavement into an intersection. It was raining. Then he slipped and fell again when he ran to pick up the bike in the middle of the road. I felt so bad for him, but he seemed fine. It was low speed as he was stopping for the red light.
  6. I couldn't get a picture, but it put a big smile on my face. A young girl driving a first generation Bronco II with working a/c and an antique license plate.
  7. I don't think so, because I'm NOT getting those types of ads.
  8. Yes, I know it's supposed to have the mags. I was wondering if the chrome tree I have is the stock wheel tree or not correct at all for the kit.
  9. Since we're talking about this kit, mine doesn't have the mag wheels in it. I assumed someone took that chrome tree and replaced it with the tree that has the stock wheels. Is that correct or is this just some random chrome tree thrown in?
  10. I see someone moved this for you.
  11. This is not the "wanted" section. You have a thread in the "wanted" section for this part. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/201261-a-chevy-duality-cowl-hood-from-mine-a-snap-kit-snap-kit/
  12. Many of our "handbrakes" are operated by foot.
  13. I've moved the van to a more convenient "it's still not going anywhere for a while" parking spot. It fit with two inches to spare.
  14. There's a guy in Pakistan that will weld that sucker up good as new.
  15. There's also old style/new style taillights, I don't know the year of the change. The AMT kit is the older body so it doesn’t have the character line which is just above the rear wheel opening and stops just before the front wheel opening on the van pictured. When the character line was added the vans didn't carry it to the front doors at first. I would imagine there were different bumpers too.
  16. I must be a hillbilly, because I like them both.
  17. I wanted to fix the a/c on my work truck, but I felt guilty doing it when my wife's better truck a/c wasn't working. So I fixed her a/c last Saturday, new accumulator and orifice tube and a junkyard compressor. It's ice cold again. Mine I diagnosed as a bad compressor clutch, so I picked up another junkyard compressor this morning and I just now finished swapping the clutch from it onto my truck. I was really looking forward to finally having a/c again, but unfortunately the drivers side is stuck on heat. I'll have to pick up the motor that operates that door. The compressor comes on now though and the passenger side was blowing at 60. I figure it's that warm because the drivers side stuck on heat.
  18. The GM G series vans have excellent hinges. I've never seen one that the doors don't operate properly. The doors on mine, all six, still open and close like brand new.
  19. Yea, never saw the show but used to play the games. It's been a while so I don't remember the other cars but do remember the ice cream truck.
  20. The battery is safer towards the windshield. It would be more likely to be ruptured in an accident at the core support.
  21. Not what I would expect to hear from a guy called "the junkman".
