From over the last week or so.. All open all complete. The BZ-38 was an inspired buy when I saw Pat W's nifty Miniart Liefer pritschenwagen typ 170V farmers car kit. The BZ-38 is highly detailed, has photo etching and a very detailed instruction booklet...? for a 1/32 kit the box is huge.

Thank you Bob.. Improvement would be more than welcome but being realistic I don't believe my dad will make it through this. So many things are not in his favor this hospital trip..

Thanks Greg... It's the worst rollercoaster ride I've ever dealt with, but I'm in for the long haul, No matter what it takes.

This morning I had a ray of hope because dads bleeding had stopped over night. Those tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy! Physical therapy showed up late afternoon and took him for a walk. I questioned them about it being to soon for therapy but they replied Nope. Hey they are the professionals, right? I took that time to go to the cafeteria to grab a drink, that's when I heard "Code Blue room 414" on the overhead page. I've never ran so fast in my life. When I got to him he was coherent but very weak. Soon afterwards the bleeding had begun again..? back to square one.

Having to dealing with a situation that even our well trained doctors and specialist at the hospital can not seem to be able to solve. My dads age and the fact that his aorta valve has calcium buildup on its flaps edges causing the valve opening to be restricted which makes any invasive procedures needed to find the source the bleeding in the lower GI such as a colonoscopy a no go! It could cause congenital heart failure. All non-invasive testing tried didn't tell them a thing on the actual cause. I was told we are at a wait and see what happens mode. I was told that it could stop bleeding on its own eventually, "if" its a internal hemorrhoid. ? yeah maybe it will stop because he's done bled out.. Not good by any means..

My thoughts too. Dad is 98 and pretty healthy other than the incontinence and dementia. Thanks Bill..

Working off of 3 hours sleep from last night's trip to the ER with my dad by ambulance. Sat by dads gurney in the busy ER hallway by the ambulance bay entrance from 11:30pm till 3:30am till an ER stall became available. Back at the hospital @ 8am when visiting hours open to find he is still in the ER waiting to be admitted to a private room upstairs. Let the bills begin! Crazy thing is dad was supposed to have his first Dr. visit tomorrow with his new Dr. because his old doc is owned by LifeBridge and no longer accepts his Cigna insurance. Hope the new Dr. doesn't charge us for a less then 24 hour cancellation charge. If he does charge for it that will be a definite irk!

I hope got "some" relief today Carl.. ?

What? Your tired of Doug and his pal emu? I cringe everytime little Doug rides over the flowers that run along the sidewalk with his mini car. I'm surprised that Liberty Mutual doesn't offer pet insurance and incorporate the emu as the spokesperson. Also annoying is all the different Progressive commercials. ? Maybe Doug and Flo should hook up and start their own insurance company.

You are proof that the repetitive playing works! You remembered the company airing it and what they were pushing. Not to mention Lily.. ? but seriously I find the back to back commercials very annoying. In fact I find it annoying that I pay a hefty price to have the honor of watching that repetitive BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. There's other commercials in particular that irk the heck out of this tradition heterosexual male but I won't go there.

More surface area with the station wagon than the sedans so it cost more? Crazy ? but at those prices I wouldn't care.

Oh No Mr. Bill! That act would bring you down to her level. I would bag it up for about a month. Put it in a box, wrap it nicely with ribbons and all with a Thank you for being an conscientious neighbor note attached. Inside would be another note that states these belong to you! I thought you'd like them back since you apparently forgot to take them with you. Your welcome! Find her address and set the trap. That might do the job ? or how far does your garden hose shoot? ?

Same with the mailman at my Dads house, my current temporary location. He's a great guy, very respectful and a retired vet. But at my normally lived at location that mail person is horrible at delivering the mail. At that location we have a cluster box and we are always receiving someone else's mail who's name and address is clearly different, it's a constant thing. So we have to do the job they were hired to do and take that mail to the rightful person.

Yes preparation is key to one's survival in todays world. I don't have any attack-cats but my "squirrels" are in key positions and fully loaded for anyone who thinks they have the right to attempt any provocation to me or my loved ones ? best think twice..

I get what your saying but I come from a time when law was respected and individuals took pride in their work and had values as you probably did also.. Those attributes may have all been changed by those in charge but I will not conform to those Bozos and their ideologies as so many has. As for the postal worker.. It would be a cost to you and a real pain in the arse but there is always the P.O. box to get those precious packages. When it comes to restaurants, I won't go back but I make sure the management knows the reason for my departure. No second chances when it comes to my food!

If this service is a paid for service then I would have to can their butt and find a new provider of that same service. I personally have no problem calling out BS and eliminating it. Not on my dime!

Today's first pleasing came by way of an offer being accepted for a kit that I normally wouldn't give a second look, 1/32 BZ-38 Reflueller. Thanks to Pat W. and his last cool MiniArt kit purchase by his wife my model kit list of must haves has been expanded. Even though it's not the kit I had originally been looking at I had to have it and it was cheaper than they normally cost. Thanks Pat & the misses.

Same goes for caulk and wood glue.. Neither intended for the mouth but somehow it manages to get there... Silly fingers..?

I use the could of been worse train of thought quite a bit and also the bite my tongue method too. Always followed up a few minutes of unwind time to alleviate the stress. ? paint in my eyes.. Nope I never ever had that happen ?? burns at first and makes ya tear up. Oh by BTW it doesn't taste good either.. ? just saying!

I used to not be.. but now living with my dad and his pal dementia I've learned to deal with many things unimaginable to most with laughter or a more silly side. If not ? life could be miserable or even unbearable. Neither are an option!

When I first saw your horrifying dilemma my mind went immediately to you could always join the "The Blue Man Group". But I didn't have the heart. I too have ruined a pair of two of prescription glasses from either walking into the mist or from the splashed droplets that occurred while pouring lacquer into the cup on my spray gun at work. Never anything to your level of coverage though. Try waxing? Maybe some of the non chemical strippers used on models? If the glasses are trash what's to lose?

Oh.. I like that thought! I'll have to use that one on my wife the next time she barks about me buying another kit! ?

You sparked an interest that I had to check out. Miniart carries some pretty neat vehicles. I especially like the tow truck, 3-wheeled Tempo A400 and the cheese delivery truck. Lots of parts, photo etching and large assortment of decals. Looks like my list of must haves just grew a few.. Thanks for the insight Pat.. ?

I wonder if the Village Accessories that comes in the kit are the items illustrated in the bed? Neat truck but it looks like she's blowing a little smoke..
