  3. Really nice model, great job... I still remember the first time one of my models showed up in a magazine, it felt fantastic!! I've saved a copy of every magazine which have photos of my models...the trophies are long gone congrats and I hope you have many more to come
  4. With building 25 - 30 models a year...just not enough space for displaying them all plus I enjoy building models, not collecting them. I usually sell 85% of them on eBay, 10% are given away as gifts or built for someone... keep maybe 5% because they're special builds for one reason or another.

  7. yep, Tamiya 1/12th scale...yellow "Sharpie" rubbed on inside of windscreen
  8. It's the 1/16th scale kit from MPC, re-released by AMT many years ago
  9. It's a new kit produced by Revell of Germany...they have four of these beasts - 2 Audis and 2 Mercedes

  20. Been wanting to build a model of my wife's cousin Sherrill Luck's '29 Ford Roadster for some time. Just gott'er done in time for Christmas...if you know Sherrill, please don't tell'em OK! Started with AMT '29 Roadster kit, Chevy 327 engine ,'58 Chevy rear-end, wheels/tires from Revell '40 Ford pickup and other goodies... here's a photo of Sherrill with the real car: here be the model: Happy Holidays everyone and thanx for lookin'

  24. If you can get the Part # for the photo-etch from someone who has the reissued kit, you should be able to order it directly from Tamiya USA. I've had success in getting lost/broken parts and spare decals from them in the past...providing the kits you want parts from are still available good luck!
