  1. Yes! Big block extracted from the Vette! It's been so long that I've looked at that car, I would have bet it was a small block. Something tells me it will be now! Lol
  2. I have the Cragars and slicks from the 57 kit. The chrome was bad so I stripped them. I'll repaint with Molotow. Saw some bigger wrinkled slicks on the bay, but they may be too tall/wide. Haven't mocked anything up yet. Pics to follow shortly.
  3. Thank you for that. I may have that one somewhere. The search continues...
  4. Slowly getting my stuff together for the 1/12 Grumpy's Toy 69 Camaro. Found my set of Cragars, got the decal sheet, photo etch detail set, Grump Lump, now to find a good big block. All I can find is a resin 572 in 1/12. Hate to pay that much for the resin print, but I might be forced to. I'll still have to fab the tunnel ram.
  5. Awesome! I dig it!
  6. Won an auction for the Wright Cyclone 1/12 radial engine kit to build for a buddy of mine that has an aviation background. 27 bucks total cost! I can't wait to present it to him! It's cool to do something different once in a while. It's a sealed Masterpiece Monogram kit.
  7. Mild or wild. Whatever flips your switch!
  8. Decided to try to polish the old Testors metallic green. It rubbed out pretty nice. Got a little foil work to take care of, but that's not a big deal. Any progress is good I reckon.
  9. I built one of those years ago for our local plant. As far as I know, they still have it up front in the office.
  10. I had plans for this one since it was brand new. I'm the only owner, and it still waits, impatiently. I wanted to full tube frame, and tub it. It was the first new car I ever bought in 1979. It's a V8, 5.0l, turbo 350 trans, and every option you could get on a Monza, including a sunroof. I drove the wheels off of it until 1991, then put it on blocks and made plans. It was anemic, but fun. Life, family, kids and a long line of demanding jobs took over. It still waits, and is in not so hot shape.
  11. I have a bunch of parts in the purple pond. I guess that's progress... Still on an engine hunt. I have a tpi chevy engine somewhere. Might have to buy a LS resin engine. Decisions, decisions.
  12. Got the Tyrone Malone Hideout truck, some evergreen to attempt making the 1/12 "Grump lump" hood scoop, and general supplies.
  13. Pretty awesome!
  14. Looks great!
  15. Very, very cool! Welcome back!
  16. A buddy of mine has had many run ins with Carini. His opinion of him is less than stellar...
  17. Nice job! The plumbing is great!
  18. Might could make something like this work... https://www.ebay.com/itm/402774367465?hash=item5dc7391ce9:g:R-QAAOSwmRlfObuZ
  19. Next problem will be coming up with a "lump" for the hood...
  20. Got the decals to turn the 1/12 69 Camaro into Grumpy's Toy VI. Might be a while, but it's a start.
  21. Very nice, all of them!
  22. Man, that car of Bully's was built firecracker proof...
