  1. I looked at the original build of Blastphemi, and thought the firewall was left white, but in later episodes the firewall must have been painted flat black as well. I need to fix that. The gold seat were because I cannot be left alone for too long. LOL I will get some better matching seats soon. Also need to make a parachute mount and mount it. Overall, I like how they came out for using what I had around.
  2. They came from the Foxy Box Chevy van kit. They are wrong for the car, but they work for the look.
  3. I built the Supernatural Impala myself. The fit, and finish was nothing like I am used to from AMT. I went a different direction with it. On a side note. When I hear Supernatural Impala, I think of the Callaway Supernatural Impala SS from the mid 90s. 1995 Callaway SuperNatural SS Was a Wilder Chevy Impala (caranddriver.com)
  4. Just got a email a couple days ago saying it was finally on it's way. got it yesterday. I have not opened the bags yet, but it looks to be very accurate. The box is bigger than the Charger R/T. It gives you two choices of wheels. Hub cap, or multi hole steel wheel with chrome poverty cap. Center console looks to be solid, and the shifter on the column. Something only a PPV car would have. Is it me or do Mobius, AMT, and Revell look like they are made in the same factory? Anyways, this is a much more detailed than AMT of old. If I did not know the manufacturer, I would say Revell or Mobius. AMT would not enter my mind. Kutos to them for stepping it up on these newer kits.
  5. I just got the Pursuit Charger from Autoworld yesterday. The box is bigger than the 2021 Charger. There is two wheel options. The base hubcap, and the multi hole steel wheel with poverty caps. The center console, and rear seat seem different as well. A lot of thought went into the kit. I will post pics later.
  6. The 440 painted black
  7. Does anyone have an idea of actual release date on the Blazer? Everything I have read gives no idea of date.
  8. Thank you. I watch the shows enough, the builds seemed like a fun idea.
  9. I have been wanting to do this for some time. I used Testors enamel, and lacquer. I primed the General Mayhem and painted it red so I could sand the flat black down to the red, and mask off the engine compartment, and interior ceiling. Painted with flat black, added dents, and rust spots, hood painted brown, them star spangle blue and the hood scoop in Inca gold before sanding and applying a flat coat lacquer. Then I painted the roof of Blastphemi with pure gold Lacquer, followed by a couple coats of wet look lacquer. The lower was flat black with dull coat lacquer. the "BLASTPHEMI" decals came from Slixx Decals
  10. Bringing this back from the dead. I am doing this one, and General Mayhem, along with Project X.
  11. Mostly done. I like the way it came out. I really built it the way I had envisioned it 40+ years ago.
  12. I started this in just before Christmas last year. I had planned on making it a 4x4 truck, but then a lightbulb went off in my head. I am happy with how it came out. I had tree service decals I was going to use but decided to keep it plain. Trying to create the wood in the bed was the most difficult part of the build.
  13. The steelies would be stock chrome on the 454 SS (Chrome with black center caps), and 350 SS(350 sport)( chrome with chrome center caps). Both were RCSB.
  14. That is awesome. I love it.
  15. One of my holy grails took a slight detour. The decals wear junk, and unusable. Without the decals keeping it yellow was not in the cards. I just grabbed some colors, and tape. I am very happy with the results. All Testors extreme lacquers. Star Spangled blue, Reving red, diamond dust(silver) followed by white lightning, and 2 coats of wet look clear. I was not sure how I would paint it, but it came out better than anything I had imagined for my skill. Other than the paint, it will be built box stock. The Odessey, and bike will be Honda Red.
  16. That looks great. Having owned 2 1:1 M1009 Chevy Blazer CUCVs, I have to say your model looks so real. I had to do a double take on the first pic after the real one to see I was looking at your creation, and not another pic of the real one.
  17. Outstanding.
  18. I painted this a few years back with Rustolium X2 Orange. This week was the week I threw it together. Not a good kit by any standards. No shocks, no engine bay details, cheap windshield you have to cut yourself, tub had to be sanded to get it to fit correctly, wheels seemed too wide for the tires when assembled. This is what model building is all about, but I was not too happy with the fit, and finish. Anyways, I am calling it done. I will have to detail the fender emblem soon.
  19. I am a GM/Mopar guy, so this thread excites me. I want a Warlock, and the police Charger.
  20. I love it. Great job.
  21. That is one of the best-looking Petty cars I have ever seen.
  22. Thank you so much. It means so much to get such compliments by fellow modelers. The build was very special to me, and I wanted to share the build with others. My Brother served his country from 1970-1972 and passed in 2022 at 72 years old. I would have loved to have share this build with him.
