  1. Man! That 4 pice exhaust was no picnic gluing on. Couldn't get it perfect so it's stYing like that.
  2. I'm finding it difficult to describe how much trouble this single light gave me. I practically had to hold it for the entire time it took for the Glue to dry. Not looking forward to the other one. Got the ones on the brush gurd done. A few more things to go!
  3. Slowly coming down the home stretch. Barring any unforeseen complications, this project should be under glass any day now.
  4. Thanks Matt. That kit is a little more involved than I thought. Does it also give you that crossmember that is all the way up front?
  5. Adorable - Against Perfection.
  6. Any more detailed pics? I wouldn't mind seeing what's involved with this kit.
  7. Anybody have any pics of this kit? Wouldn't mind seeing what's involved here.
  8. Nice! Is This an old one because Joseph is saying he is going to bring those back?
  9. Sub Pop 100 compilation.
  10. Helpless - Cowboy Junkies. Neil Young cover.
  11. Those wheels would be a must for me too. Would they work with those Firestone/Gates commando tires?
  12. Thanks Mike. I think I'll try that clear coat idea. I got the Fireball light kit, but these are just the decals from that. I asked Joseph who makes his decals, and he told me he would make some more and send them to me in my next shipment. Thse lights are from the Deserter GMC kit. Still hanent gotten around to painting the Fireball lights, but I got them all prepped.
  13. The bend seems to follow the conture of the hood a little better.
  14. With very little (but careful) work, I was able to heat the back of the grill (you may even want to try a blow dryer or heat gun) and bend it slightly to where it fits a little. On the ends, there seems to be just enough material to emery board it down to narrow it a bit.
  15. A winch bumper for 1/24. Olson bros. already makes some very nice ones but only for 1/25. nothing for the many 1/24 truck kit out now. You could maybe even mak it a little more modern looking with the inset driving lights abd tubular brushgaurds.
  16. Ha! Looks like a funhouse mirror.
  17. Oh yeah! Those wheels would be perfect. I believe Jackman made ones like those way way back.
  18. Might have to go back and retouch that tailgate trim. ?
  19. You can't go wrong with these. Stalled yet again but got over this hurdle earlier today.
  20. Feel bad for her family. R.I.P.
  21. It looks a little wide and could be bent in a kind of a U shape just slightly. I'll see if I can tweak it but it's not going to be for some time.
  22. Thank you, Charles, and Scott. Just got my '73 grills. with a little tweaking, they should work out nicely!
