I know less about 3D printing than I do about computers. Zilch!

I also never got that whole black rims thing. My other pet peeve is the people who paint SS stereo stripes on everything. 442 trunk lids, '69 and '68 Chevelles, even Fords and Mopars. ??????????????

Okay, it's been long overdue. When is somebody gonna print out a VW Baja Bug? Maybe to work with one of the common, easy to get(cheap) Bug kits that are currently available now. We've been waiting long enough. Shapeways has hundreds of 3D resin animals and guns but not a single VW Baja Bug. I find this ridiculous. I prefer the wide-eyed version but would still take the bug-eyed version. While you're at it, you could too up some nice tubular bumpers for the front and rear. Anybody? And no, that Revell one is not a true Baja Bug it's just a regular Bug with canvas hiding the front end.

I remember seeing that one. ? -
That sucks! I must have lucked out. Did you get the kit at Hobby Lobby? Maybe I should go back and get that last kit I saw before all the good ones are gone.

Looking for some Cragars

Always loved that Motion Camaro. If ever find one on the cheap, I might have to get one. Thanks for the tip. I use those disposable brushes almost exclusively. -
Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!

I ran out and bought the AMT '68 Camaro kit just for the pad printed Goodyears (2 sets) and tons of goodies for the parts bin. 40% off Hobby Lobby week. Whole thing cost me a little over $16. Don't even know if I want to build the car yet (more a fan of the '70) but if I do, I'm considering some options. -
Motor City Resin Casters order
Mike C. replied to Fat Brian's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Oh man! I placed my order in mid-July and I did notice that they said to be prepared to wait 6-12 weeks. I guess good things take time. It's okay, I have plenty of other projects in the works in the meantime. -
Well I went back and watched an old you tube video on this and forgot that they come with 2 sets of the pad printed Goodyear Polyglas tires as well as a set of Cragar SS and a whole bunch of other goodies for the parts bin. This one has been out for a wile now so I was pleased to find more than 1 on the shelves at Hobby Lobby. And this is a 40% discount week. This is like getting one of those no longer available AMT Goodyear Polyglas tire packe and then some. Now I feel like I should have picked up 2. 0

Looking for some Cragars
Mike C. replied to Dirkpitt289's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Well I went back and watched an old YouTube video and forgot that this kit contains 2 sets of the pad print Goodyears (looks like 2bigs and 2 littles) as well as the aftermentioned Cragars. I thought the Cragars would be chrome but nothing a Molotow pen won't fix. You also get a set of chrome Chevy rally wheels, nice side pipes, blower dual quad setup and countless other speed goodies. I haven't even decided if I want to build this car yet (more a fan of the '70) so if you are looking for a set of Cragars with pad printed white letter Goodyears, this is definitely the one you want. Whole thing cost me just over $16. -

Got some stuff out of the way on my Revell 1/16 Chevy pickup. I'm not going to dive into it just yet. I think I'll wait till the weather gets a little less humid to start spraypainting. Fir now, just some details. Git my grill blacked out and detailed. Wile I wait for that to dry I need to make the holes for the proper, round headlights a little wider. I'm working on the 1/25 '84 GMC at the same time.

I just heard that also. She seemed so young. R.I.P.

I'm a big fan of his off-road tires and wheels. I too usually end up buying way too much stuff. Be patient, He has been really busy as of late. -

I totally forgot about this one. I you have a Hobby Lobby near you and if they have any of this kit left, you could get this kit it has some nice Cragars and also pad printed white letter tires. Now this is the way I would go. Get it before this week is out. next week the 40% off deal ends. Then you will have to wait another week (the 40% off deal is every other week. You can pick up lots of other stuff too. 1968 Camaro Z/28 Model Kit | Hobby Lobby | 1021153 -
